Good value with some caveats
This wand holder works very well for what it was designed for. It was designed for Hakko 900 series (and the countless clones of them), soldering wands. It’s compact in its foot print and goes for height instead of width to save space. The two big issues are these:1. It is fairly lightweight and will absolutely move when used if not compensated properly. You need to install a 1lb roll of solder to keep it in place. Period. If you don’t install a roll, or use a little 40-50ft roll, it will be to lightweight and move about.2. The brass sponge pot is smaller and cute, but not really replaceable. I’ve never seen a sponge pot that small before. I’ve seen many that are the same style, and look like it, but they are several times the size. The brass will of course be replaced, but the bottom is filled with flux and when that’s used up or contaminated beyond use, it’s time to replace it. But you can’t. So be aware of that little issue.All in all, it works well and is cheap. I use lower end wands like 900 series for things like reworking stuff that would not be good for my better soldering irons. I have a number of one pound rolls, so not an issue for me. If you need to buy one, it will be between $40-$60 for a 1lb roll depending of type and brand. Something to consider.

Perfect for my Pinecil soldering iron
I purchased a Pinecil to replace my work station style soldering system to save desk space. This soldering station is just as sturdy, if not more, than my old station and takes up half the space. It also has room for spare soldering tips or in my case soldering cartridges as used by the Pinecil. The solder holder is more stable than my old one and the solder tip cleaning sponge and tip cleaner is just as good as my old one which I loved. Even though I am using a Pinecil this soldering station would work great with any smaller solder iron.

Fits the Pinecil v2 just fine
At the time I bought this, one reviewer said it didn’t work with their Pinecil, two said that it did, and the only review with photos shows an entirely different stand (possibly the X-4 Premium). So with my review you get a photo of a genuine Pinecil v2 w/ the included (short) tip, purchased directly from Pine64, in the X-2 Evolution stand. I recently modified my iron with the clear case and a thumbscrew that happens to slot perfectly into the stand to keep the screen side upright, but it also fit just fine with the original case and screw.I can’t find anything to fault with this stand. I wish I could buy this exact same thing with an integrated power supply for a USB-c / DC iron, but until someone makes that this one is as good as it gets.

Great for the price
I finally found an affordable option for my soldering iron. It works really well but the sponge is kind of a “sampler” instead of a cleaning tool.It is heavy, stays put, and holds my solder spool fine.
