Commercial users can set a 3-digit password to lock all parameters from being adjusted when enabled. This feature ensures a streamlined and unified working process.
Standby Mode
When non-use for longer than the set duration (1~10 minutes adjustable) is detected, the station automatically cuts power supply to the hot tweezer soldering iron. This is a great safety feature to prevent users from leaving the soldering station turned ON unattended accidentally.
Preset Channels
You can set the Channel 1 to 716℉ for big solder joints; Channel 2 to 662℉ for general purpose soldering; Channel 3 to 626℉ for temperature-sensitive boards; Channel 4 to 752℉ for wire splicing. While you’re working, you can switch between these settings with just ONE press of a button. (Temperature settings for reference only, use your preferred temperature for respective applications).
Sleep Mode
The hot tweezer soldering iron cools to 200°C/392°F immediately when placed inside the holder. This reduces the oxidation and wear of the soldering tip cartridge.

Compact and comprehensive
I absolutely *love* this soldering station! I have 2 teenaage boy bunnies and I can’t even count the number of “spicy hay” (cords) they have destroyed. It has such a small profile that it fits nice and neat in the corner of my crafting table. The versitility of tips, the holder for the solder wire, the ability to dial the temperature in – makes everything from repairing cords to working with jewelry super easy! The long cord for the tweezers allow for working on larger pieces that might not fit directly in front of the station. This came in handy when I was fixing an oxygen compressor.This is great for beginners and hobbiests but still useful for more seasoned workers.

Good Product for the price
I was looking for a Mini Hot Tweezer that wont brake the bank and I saw this Yihua 982D-I and check the reviews and saw it was good. However, once I received the item and open it, the packaging was excellent..The product was as discribed with one fault. when I assembled the Hot tweezer tips to the holder I notice that the tips did not align with each other. It came with 3 tips and I tried all but it was the same. There is no adjustment to align the Tips. but with that said it works great and does the Job.

Fantastic hot tweezers soldering station!!!
This is an amazing precision hot tweezer soldering/desoldering station. Everything you need it included in this station.2 size tips; straight blades and 45-degree angle blades, spool of solder that attaches to the top of the base, 5 extra calibration bands, tip cleaning both brass and sponge, cord hanger, and the base unit. The only thing you might need is some flux.The base unit has a nice large easy to read display and depending on where you have this setup the display can be angled a bit for best viewing. The menu system is simple to navigate and has some nice features including a password lock and the entire manual if you need instructions on something it’s right in the machine so no need to go online or find what you did with your paper copy.The station has 4 channels you can set up individually with your most used temperatures and can be quickly recalled at a touch of a button.If I have one thing negative to say about it, is I don’t like the beeping noise it makes but it’s nice you can turn that off. Not really a negative more of a preference.The beauty of the base is its speed to reach the desired temperature from its 392-degree F standby temp. In 2 seconds, it’s at temp from the time you take the tweezers out of its holder. Pretty amazing! There is a power level bar on the display you will see climb as it reaches its set temperature. It will also monitor when you are soldering or desoldering a capacitor, IC, resistor whatever if it’s a larger item especially on a ground plane and more power is needed to maintain the set temperature you will see that on the meter.The station has a nice weight to is so it stays put when you are removing and holstering the tweezers.This really is a fantastic tweezer soldering station, highly recommend!

A great little solder station but comes with a big learning curve
I create and work on a lot of electronics and always doing some kind of soldering. With the increasing use of small SMDâs to build even smaller components I find myself sometimes struggling with the smallest of components like 0603 and even 0402 sizes. On a good day I can typically handle 0805 and 1206 is pretty much straight forward and easy to handle.I liked the concept of a âTweezerâ style station and wanted to give this one a go to see if it could improve my work flow and handling of these small components.The station itself is well thought out and controls are readily available with a large clear LCD display to show needed information quickly like current and standby temperatures. The display can be adjusted but only in a downward angle so if you happen to have your station elevation, this may serve useful. I have mine directly on my bench and it would be nice to have the option to provide a little more upward angle but I can work with this display as itâs large, clear and bright.I like the station allows you to setup four different channels of temperature making it a quick adjustment to go between required temperatures as you work on your project.The station has built in calibration which is a snap to achieve. Simply putting the station into calibration mode and choosing your node end you can place the probe onto the calibration sensor and the station takes care of the rest. Once completed you choose the other node and calibrate that probe also. Once complete you exit and can immediately begin working on your project.The station provides both an easy storage receiver which puts the irons to standby temperature or sleep mode if left in long enough based on your settings and also a convenient iron change bay for those times when you may be working with different size probes.Also, directly on top and always ready are the brass clean pad and optional water pad for cleaning tips. I dislike water cleaning and always use my brass for cleaning so itâs nice to have these options close at hand.Thereâs a top side solder spool holder for convenient access to your solder.With all that said, Iâve tried to work with this station for the past 90 days and although Iâve gotten a little better at using the âtweezerâ system, itâs a different way of working with solder components and to me like learning a new language. Iâm a traditional handheld solder tip kind of guy and I feel that Iâm very efficient with my stylus style solder stations but wanted to improve my SMD work efficiency and thatâs why I picked up this station. Itâs truly a learning curve that I hope to continue to improve on but keep in mind itâs not going to be like your single tip stations.
