2-IN-1 – This station combines a 110W EVO soldering station with a desoldering station. You can do soldering and desoldering operations at the same time. The soldering iron temperature can be adjusted from 392℉ to 896℉, and the desoldering gun temperature can be adjusted from 716℉ to 896℉.

This thing sucks!
Works way better than the spring loaded ones. You can hear it slurping the solder off the board. I used it several times before the heating element became loose in the desolder gun. After contacting the manufacturer they sent a complete desolder gun at no charge in 1 day. The chisel tip worked well on the iron but I bought pointed tips to alternate with. I wish I had purchased one of these years ago for pinball repair. I highly recommend.

Intuitive setup and operation; Instructions could be a little clearer.
I’m quite pleased with the set. I’ve used both the soldering iron and the desolder tool. Both heat very fast. Digital display is large and easy to read. Comes with a reasonable supply of consumable accessories (filters, tips, etc.) as well as cleaning tools. Not mentioned in the product description is that the unit is ESD grounding ready and comes with an ESD grounding lead that plugs in the rear and can be clipped to an ESD mat or other static discharge ground.The only negative (and it’s a very minor point) is that the instructions are not very clear on setting and using the timer and sleep mode. However, with a little experimentation, these functions become clear.Overall, this is a very good set that delivers. Although I’ve only received it recently, it’s easily handled some pretty heavy-handed vintage radio point-to-point soldered components. If it can deal with these relatively large solder joints, it should have no trouble at all with finer, modern solid-state type circuit boards.

Good for beginners, with some caveats
I purchased this back in January as my first ever soldering/desoldering station. Out of the box, it works beautifully and feels very nice. The temperatures seem to measure accurately, and it warms up quickly, especially the soldering side. I have no issues at all with the soldering side of the station. 5/5 there.The desoldering side is nice but has some caveats. You have to be absolutely obsessive with cleaning it out after every session, or even mid-session if you’re soldering for a long time. If you don’t, then old solder will harden and get stuck in the nozzle, becoming an insane PITA to unclog. A pro-tip I learned is to always keep the longest pin/poker that comes with the set handy. After every 3-4 traces you vacuum up, take the pin and slide it in and out of the front of the desoldering gun a few times while holding down the trigger.I wouldn’t want to use this thing if I was more than a hobbyist. It seems like during extended sessions it tends to start overheating and just feels less reliable. Look elsewhere if you are going to use this for more than a couple hours a day a few times a week.Parts are easy to find and the Yihua customer service, although with some slight language barriers, has always been very responsive through the Amazon messaging system. I would happily purchase this again.

Complete garbage. Manufacturer just ingores you.
Out of the box I got the dreaded SE error. Never worked. The sucker or the base is defective.returned after not getting any response from the manufacturer.There is too many people on here having the same issues. I guess I am lucky mine was defective out of the box so I could return and not lose out my money.do yourself a favor and pass on this manufacturer and there is zero product support. Zero customer contact.

Nice dual station but desolder gun didn’t last long.
A recent purchase based on the nice feature of having a desoldering station built in. Unit was small and works well and really enjoy having the electric desoldering vacuum pump over using a wick or mechanical pump. But the main reason for purchasing this, the desoldering tool, was quickly an issue as it has failed. The small tube which the old solder flows thru to enter the holding vessel became plugged up with solder that cooled. none of the tip cleaners provided would clear it and after using the cleaning tips rather then clearing the tube, the ceramic interior shattered, rendering the tool now junk. Thankfully they do offer replacements, most likely since they no they fail quickly.My advice is if you buy this unit be prepared for the desoldering tool to fail.

It sounds a lot better than it is
This unit has a lot of great features and the solder/desolder temp are decently accurate with the set temps. However, quality is quite low. My desolder gun lasted for all of 6 uses. After each use the filter was cleaned. However, the gun has a propensity to clog in the heating element. So much so in fact, that it will weld itself shut. The unit is, of course, completely unserviceable. There are no heating element replacement parts available nor can you purchase just the desolder gun. If you need something on a budget, this will work for you for a little while, but beware, you do get what you pay for.
