How we got our start
Our first batch of production-soldering stations and hot air stations rolled off the assembly line in the year 2000.
What makes our product unique
We continued to innovate and evolve our solutions to provide better user experience, notable technologies first introduced by YIHUA includes Hot Air Start/Stop, Hot Air Failsafe, Skeleton-Type Heating Element, Integrated Soldering Iron Holder System, and more.
This 929D-V desoldering iron integrates soldering iron and desoldering pump, you can enjoy the single-handed and continuous desoldering with its short charging handle to rid the hassle of changing grip positions. If you are looking to purchase a desoldering tool that can handle the desoldering jobs of through-hole components and removing excess solder (solder bridges) without jamming up, this is a great choice.
This is a plug-n-play desoldering iron. Plug in the power plug, allow the desoldering iron to preheat for approximately 3 minutes, and you are ready to go. YIHUA exclusive heating system combined with a strong desoldering pump ensures you experience uninterrupted desoldering.
Different from the traditional use-and-throw desoldering irons, the 929D-V can be used, easily cleaned, and reused. You can lift and pull out the scrap solder storage tube and clean the solder out like a breeze. Meanwhile, we also included 2 different and interchangeable diameters (φ1.0mm & φ1.2mm) desoldering nozzles for different sizes of through-hole components. NOTE: change the nozzle after the desoldering iron has cooled completely.
This desoldering iron comes with a heat deflector at the end of the heating element, and this prevents the excess heat from transferring onto the hand when desoldering continuously. You can desolder joints after joints without your hands feeling uncomfortably hot.
Choose YIHUA with Confidence – Enjoy our 12-month US- exclusive manufacturer technical coverage and 24/7 professional assistance on Amazon. Note: This model is designed to operate on 110-127V with a US-standard power plug.
Customers find the soldering iron effective for desoldering 2-lead components. They find it easy to use and a good value for the price. However, some customers dislike the smoke level and have mixed opinions on the heat level, build quality, and heat transfer.

Surprisingly good
First, I like and trust this brand: I’ve had a soldering station from them for over a year and it’s great, holding up well, use it a lot. This solder sucker works quite well. Much better than the older style with the rubber bulb. I added an inline power switch to the cord and mounted a soldering iron stand to my bench. So, this tool is always handy and ready to go. I use it more often than I expected. I still use a regular solder sucker and/or wick for some stuff, especially if regular soldering iron is already hot. This one does take a couple minutes to heat up, but it has plenty of heat (and thermal mass), so it works fine, even on heavy duty switch terminals for example.

Does the job great
Sweet tool for repairing boards. Makes multi pin component removal much easier and faster than using a copper strand and a soldering iron. Slides over most pins easily, the ps5 joysticks have a fat pin and it took the largest opening tip and some force to slide it over pin. Removes most all solder in one try. Overall handy tool and wish I bought it the first repair time.

Solid Desoldering Tool (But Don’t Expect Miracles)
This YiHua desoldering iron is a pretty solid tool. It’s super easy to use and heats up quickly, melting solder in a flash. The metal tip is a big improvement over those teflon ones that always seem to burn or melt. Plus, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t clog up easily. For it’s current price point, it’s a good middle-ground option between those cheap solder suckers and the pricier desoldering guns. Now, here’s the thing: it works way better than those manual solder suckers, but it doesn’t have the super-powerful suction I was hoping for. For components with two leads, it usually gets the solder out in one go. But sometimes it takes a few tries, even with through-hole contacts. With bigger components, like transistors or capacitors, you’ll probably need to do several cycles of melting and sucking to get all the solder out. Holding it on the joint for longer helps melt the solder thoroughly, but be careful not to overheat the component.I didn’t have any issues with the tip fitting over different sized leads, from tiny resistors to larger transistors and capacitors. It works best on two-lead components because the leads can move freely as the solder melts. With three-lead components, it’s a bit trickier.Overall, this tool is definitely a step up from a basic solder sucker, but don’t expect the same vaccum as one one a complete rework station. If you’re looking for a decent, affordable desoldering tool, this one gets the job done, just be prepared to put in a bit of extra work on those stubborn joints.—Product: YiHua 929D-V Electric Desoldering Soldering Iron Solder Sucker Desoldering Pump with Shorter Charging Handle and Desoldering Nozzles 1.0mm 1.2mm for Through-Hole DesolderingASIN: B094ZCRXMN

Works well
The product is precisely what is presented. It is easy to use and clean. I have been using it for a while now, and I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Does in 15 min what took me an hour with just braid
I literally did two identical IC pulls back to back, one with just copper wire/braid and then one with braid and this tool, went from 2+ hours to 15 minutes. Highly recommend. It did smoke for a few minutes when I turned it on, but the smoking stopped within 10 minutes and it worked perfectly.

Mega toxic plumes of smoke 10+ minutes..
The video is right after I plugged it in. After about 4-5 minutes it kept going and the smoke got even worse. Thinking it would go away I desoldered a few PCBâs and the smoke is still coming out.Something tells me this isnât normal but a part of me thinks it may have something to do with it âbreaking inâ – if it bursts in flames or craps out Iâll come back and edit and let you all know lol.It does work insanely well though. I do use quality Kester solder so that helps a ton. Suction is perfect too. It is kinda big / awkward.

Works well
Comes with three tips of different diameter for different size pins. It warmed up in the 3 to 5 minutes three instructions and as long as you were square on the pin it would take the solder from the joint. Good purchase for not taking apart circuit boards often. Good value.
