Perfect for Electronics, Tolerable for Expedient Microsurgery
Over the course of my life, I had owned several pairs of tweezers, and they were, without exception, utterly useless. I now own several pairs of Wiha tweezers, and they are great. These Wiha tweezer tips seem to be ground fairly accurately, so the tips mate with each other to a satisfactory degree, and you can actually tweeze stuff. The arms on this particular pair of tweezers are straight. They taper to what is, at first glance, a terrifyingly sharp point. The tweezers come with a little segment of transparent plastic tubing placed protectively over the tips. Keep that tubing for storage and personal safety!I primarily use these tweezers for electronics. I doubted the utility of these straight tip tweezers when I first unboxed them. However, electronics keep getting smaller. It seems like a lot of passive components, like resistors, are hardly bigger than a grain of sand, now. For some surface mount components, the needle-like tips are essential; almost anything else would simply be way too big.On occasion, I’ve also used these for expedient microsurgery to extract splinters embedded in my skin. Under the magnification of the optical micrometer, these terrifyingly sharp tweezers are enormous and clumsy. They can work, if you’re desperate, like I was. However, for microsurgery, I strongly recommend something with a smaller and sharper point (aside from the obvious fact that for sterilization, you’d want uncoated tweezers; these are coated for electrostatic dissipative purposes).I’m very happy with my Wiha tweezers, and recommend that you have a set in your toolbox or medicine cabinet.

Amazing Tweezers
This is an amazing product. Pick up and placement is a breeze every time with this tool. It is sturdy, with proper care the points stay true, I have used this tool for years

Good precision tweezers.
I use these to form precision parts out of thin, soft beryllium copper wire. I’ve tried dozens of other sets of tweezers for this particular part, but none of them work as well as this pair. These tweezers are made for delicate precision work only; using them for anything else will damage the tips, so hide them from anybody who doesn’t understand this. This is my second pair because numbskull co-workers got their hands on them and used them for non-precision purposes.

Jo
These tweezers were not what I had expected, I didn’t like them and returned them. Didn’t workfor my intended purpose.

Wiha FTW
I love Wiha tools. The only problem is that if you are working with these and something goes wrong you can’t blame the tool.

Very well made
Very well made tweezers have perfectly matched tips. Best I’ve owned.
