Works great.
I like the fact that when you set the tool into the holder, it will reduce the temperature and pause. During use, it allows for a more “gentle” heating of the joint without overheating. Works great for shrink tubing as well. With the included nozzles, it allows you to put the heat where it is needed. Being able to move the heat closer and back off, allows me to control the absorption of heat in surrounding parts. It was especially useful for those joints where I could not get the solder gun tip into without burning the insulation on other wires.

Works wonders on iPhone back glass
The item came in a nice box with a stand and some extra tips as well as a user manual. Although Iâm new to this and didnât exactly buy it for the intended purpose, it was easy enough to use, was light enough despite the cord, and had very convenient controls making it user friendly. It seems to hold the temperature pretty steadily, and considering its price it displays good performance, or at least enough to suit my needs relating iPhone back glass.

Great heat gun for the price
I’ve always wanted to get a hot air station, but I couldn’t justify the price – not for just occasional use. I’m working on a board where my desoldering gun just didn’t seem to be doing the job – The solder was old and crusty, and the gun just wasn’t pulling it all – So I ran across this kit and thought I’d try it. The chip came out first time.The temperature is easily adjustable, so it was easy to get just enough heat to open an Apple Watch, or to increase it enough to unsolder an IC. And the size is just right.

the temperature may be inaccurate
When it is cranked up i am able to get the task done, but if I set the temperature to close to the expected working temperature I do not get the results I would expect. Still a great, small footprint, piece of equipment.

It works but it only lasted for one job
After using this tool for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes the gun stopped getting hot error code showed up as H-E 1 And the unit stopped producing heat this is not the most reliable tool but it did get the job done but I had more jobs to do so therefore the item got returned it is not the greatest durable hot air gun

The heat gun heats up quickly. It quickly melted the solder on a surface mount capacitor. Controls for temperature and fan speed are easy to operate.
