3 Hot Air Nozzles
The hot air nozzles are made in 0.52×0.52in /0.32in / 0.2in diameters, and you can use these nozzles on a broad range of rework applications.
Adjustable Air Volume
You can adjust the air volume based on your component’s size, use lower settings for small and light components, or use higher settings when you need to deliver heat to an area quickly.
Adjustable Temperature Setting
You can adjust the temperature setting from 212 to 896°F. The button-style temperature adjustment allows you to adjust value precisely, each press provides an increase/decrease of 1 unit.
PID Temperature Control
This unit comes with a microcontroller that keeps running temperature compensation in milliseconds, so your hot air temperature is always stabilized in real-time. With this technology, the station prevents temperature overshoot, unstable temperature, and damaging the component.
Auto Standby
Significantly reduce unnecessary wear when the hot air gun is unused, and improve user safety for the hot air gun. When you put the hot air gun in the holder, the hot air gun automatically cools to 212°F and turns OFF temporarily until it is picked up again.

Works Well, Despite Being Inexpensive
The workstation seems to have good temperature control (though I have not confirmed it with a thermometer) as it works predictably and repeatably with soldering and desoldering tasks.I bought this so that I could replace the SMD relays inside a very expensive audio analyzer. I practiced first on an old VGA card and found that 640°F seemed to be the best balance between speed and preserving the components. I used the small tip so far and it gave good control.I think this will also be useful for getting into those tight spaces where I to apply heat shrink tubing.The unit heats up in seconds and is very quiet in operation. The low fan setting is low enough to avoid blowing the component off the board.The handpiece shuts off and goes into high fan (cooldown) mode automatically when placed on the stand. It seems to have an angle sensing device that only puts it in cool down when the handpiece is in the precise position of storage.If I were to be nitpicking, I’d say the mounting of the nozzles is a bit crude with something like a stove bolt holding it together, but other than that, for the price I paid and the work I was able to do, this was well worth the purchase.

Heats fast .. I like the feature when you put nozzle on hanger it cuts off automatic and starts back up when you take off hanger.!

Works well for price point
I dislike the awkward feeling of holding the blower. It feels like it could be more ergonomic. It seems huge for the job it performs (pushing air over a coil) I also dislike the cheap way the attachments are clamped to the tool end. A snap connection would be an improvement over the nut and bolt clamp. Aside from this the tool works well. It heats fast and has a good range of blower speed. It seems to have an even/accurate heat range. I also wish there was a safety switch so the blower cannot be inadvertently activated while resting on the base. It seems this could become a fire hazard if the switch gets bumped. The way the blower rests on side of unit points it directly into the back wall of my desk. I am unplugging it when not in use.

This works
When I ordered this I mis-read what I was ordering and thought it was a regular soldering iron. I have never used a hot air soldering iron but I can tell you this turns on, gets hot and probably does exactly what it is supposed to. It has a cradle to hold the iron as well a few different tips that you can place on it, they appear to be different size options.It is a nice heavy machine, I just have no idea what a hot air soldering iron is even used for or on.

Inexpensive And Performs As Expected
This hot air rework station is relatively inexpensive and built well. I really like the included accessories and the adjustability of the unit. I believe I will get many years of service from it. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon’s low listed selling price.
