Handy, small enough to get into tight places
Weller Solder Aid Kit 6 Double-sided Tools (WLACCSAK-02)I’ve been a hobbyist and a tinkerer for as long as I can remember. I like to take things apart, and occasionally I like to put them back together again. Lately, I’ve been messing about with radio-controlled cars and building my own custom battery packs and controllers for them. One of the things I’ve run into, especially with larger connections like high amperage battery fittings, is that the solder doesn’t always go where you wanted to go. These tools have been great for manually pushing solder back where it needs to go. In the past, I’ve used an old screwdriver or a fid, but it never seems to work out exactly right. The plastic grip in the center is just large enough in diameter to allow you to maneuver the tool where you needed to be. I have found these especially helpful for desoldering and taking off the circuit boards. I’ve used these a couple of times now, and they seem to be working well for what they’re made for, to move solder around.

The tool service purpose you can tell itâs not going to be a lifelong tool by the quality of the plastic handle and the durability of the metal. The value for the money is good seeing how cheap they were.

Por lo general Weller es sinónimo de calidad pero esta vez decepcionan mucho… Super Caros! Se consiguen fácilmente por menos de 50 pesos mexicanos ese kit sin ser de Weller. Es hecho en china, en ningún lado ves el logo de Weller una vez sacados del blister y el mango se siente fragil.
