should have paid more attention to other reviews that said it got hot then quit working.
worked well for the short term, it worked took 21 of the 30 Amazon return days for manufacturer to send a new plastic housing from China. Used this plastic welder intermittently for an hour the day I got it before it quit heating at all. Light still works can hear contactor close inside but no heat. Contacted manufacturer Hours after receiving it sent picture of damage to case 21 days later I received a new plastic case for the tool. I don’t know how they figure a new plastic case will help it start heating again. Am returning it. If it doesn’t more than 2 hours and it takes 21 days for manufacturer to send a replacement plastic housing that does not change how the tool has malfunctioned I would not recommend buying it.

used this once and the heating elements are housed in plastic, once they heated up it melted and shorted out. got a full refund so not mad about it but this could have been built better.

This unit got broken after one usage. The plastic of the gun melded where the two rods are.
