I’ve used it since 2021
I’ve been using mine since May 2021 constantly. It is now almost 2025. I have had no issues with this soldering station at all. I race RC cars and I solder wiring and connections all the time. I even solder stuff up for my fellow racers. The heat gun is outstanding for getting quick heat on shrink wrap. The system heats up really fast and has a really cool standby feature that knows when you pick up the soldering iron or heat gun and immediately goes from the standby temperature to the use temperature. This was a great investment into my hobby!

Very good soldering station!
I use this in a small engine shop. It has been working well for over a year now. The tip heats up super fast and the hot air is useful for a lot more than just circuit boards. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone needing a soldering station. I’ve been kind of rough on mine and it just keeps working!

Pretty good, but not perfect
What I like:* It’s an easy-to-use kit for doing temperature controlled soldering.* Handles lead-free soldering pretty well (I run it at 380 for that)* Hot air only runs when holding it, and cools itself when dockedWhat I don’t like:* If you solder for a while, you notice the heat creeping up the handle of the soldering iron. It’s not dangerously hot, but initially I found myself holding it low enough to learn not to do that quickly.* The big bundle of iron cleaning brass is in the same place the iron is while it’s resting, so it starts conducting heat, which makes the entire (metal) iron holder hot after a while if you leave it sit. Not searing-hot, but I’d probably recommend taking the brass out and putting it in a separate holder.* Desoldering is annoying since I can’t seem to get the hot air to do anything beyond softening the old solder, so I usually end up doing it with the iron.Overall not bad, just minor gripes. I’ve mainly used 2 of the iron tips, and 1 of them has a small dent from being used a lot (I assume).I’m not sure if it’s me or the unit, but I can’t get anything of value done with the hot air. I just end up blowing solder balls (when using solder paste) around and melting nothing. It’s useful to do my heat shrink though..

It worked great then started showing an error on the display but would work after restarting. then the error code wouldnt go away and now the solder iron is useless. generic manufacture process with poor quality control

Superb quality/price ratio professional reduced size soldering station with heat gun
What a surprise when I received that little box! I couldn’t believe that there was a soldering station with such specifications inside. I opened the box (everything perfectly packed) and was surprised to see the quality of the station and the accessories. The quality and the finishes exceeded my expectations. Compared to my previous soldering station (from a well-known brand and which cost me 3 times the price of this new station), my old station looks like a dinosaur! The temperature is easily adjusted from the large, bright display. It has a very useful safety feature: It turns on when you lift up the gun off the base and goes to sleep mode after putting it in the base again. The iron heats up very quickly and the heat gun is perfect! small and quiet. I love this new soldering kit, definitely a good choice. It has a superior quality / price ratio! highly recommended for hobbies and professional work.

what I expected
It is a perfectly usable soldering station. I knew when buying it, that calibration & speed to heat were going to be off.That said, it works. I’ve already repaired a POE switch, SM power supply, and removed countless smd’s &IC’s.

When I got this unit it worked great. It came with a good selection of good quality tips. The iron worked great and the temperature regulation seemed pretty on point. It performed similarity to Weller WES51 I have always used. I lost my Weller in a move and decided to give something different a try. Going to one of these units offered so many more features as far as saving different temperatures and getting the live view of how the temperature Ks being maintained while In use. On top of all that getting the hot air rework gun included it seemed like it was great bang for the buck. I figured these looked and sounded like quality units (not to say they arent) Unfortunately yesterday when I went to power it on after I flipped the switch the screen flickered on and then went blank. After this the unit was just unable to power up. I checked the fuses with the multimeter and they were fine so the issue is internal somewhere. I could have just gotten one of the bad units as even the best of products still have defective units, so I canât jump right to saying these are no good.l, as it worked wonderfully before this. I have contacted for warranty and if all goes well hopefully I am able to get a functioning unit that last and it is handled well. If the service is good and I get a working product that lasts then this is for sure a 5-star product and will be updating my review accordingly as I loved the product when it was working the way it is meant to.EDIT June 22: Receives a brand new unit. More than happy with the service and hopefullly this one lasts years to come. If not now I have some replacement parts at least. They started by trying to walk me through fixing it to get it working asap and then sent me a brand new one when it was deemed not to be an easy fix.

Very pleased with the functionality of this product. The soldering iron heats up to the temperature that you have selected very quickly. The hot air gun is very good for DE soldering components. I haven’t had to buy any replacement tips yet, but somebody has found the correct size to use in the previous reviews. Just scroll down on the reviews.

Sons switch broke found out i needed to swap out some chips and a usb port off the motherboard. After much research i got this. Works great never used another system so have nothing to compare it to.. but I was able to remove and add chips and usb to switch motherboard. I used provided tweezers and solder. As a beginner I would recommend this system to any beginner. Did everything I needed it to do at an amazing price point!!!
