good value 4-pack, that flows very well. As others have stated, just make sure you address the compatibility with other solder blends.I’ve used this on a few wires here and there, and it works well so far (standard weller iron with regular tip)I got this since I’ve generally had better luck with lead formulations for connections. Also, if you look up ‘marine grade’ (which I will usually consult for most applications, since it tends to stand up to mechanical and corrosive environments better than anything ‘off the shelf’) most folks will recommend a 63/37 blend (with high quality flux of course) since its eutectic (melts and freezes at a specific exact temp), melts at lower temp, and makes stronger joints.

Convenient legacy tin-lead solder
This is the smallest gauge solder I can imagine with rosin core, intended to allow fine control in electronic repair applications with a fine-tip iron tip. Every soldering iron can achieve the temperature required to melt this, but since soldering involves raising the temperature of the metals to be joined above the melting point, the use-case matters. Also, for repairs, based on what happens with alloys, newer non-lead solder would need to be removed prior to introducing this tin-lead into a joint to be repaired for controllable melting.The price of this is in line with competitors. The tubes provide the convenience factor for protected transportation and handy dispensing, while being durable. The holey cap snaps securely in place. (It should also be obvious that lead is in the category of [heavy metal] hazardous material, which is generally banned for use in items sold in Europe (RoHS), and otherwise minimizing human exposure is appropriate.)

Works great for replacing stepper motors on instrument clusters.
Melts at a low temperature, flows well and finishes a strong connection. I used this to replace some stepper motors on my GMC instrument cluster. I have used other solders for this type of work before, but they took too much heat and didn’t flow well. This melted easily and flowed very well. Cut my work time in half. It does contain lead, so use proper precautions.

It works great
Iâm fairly new to soldering, and this stuff may not be the best, but it worked great for me! Iâve finished multiple projects, including a GameBoy Color with it, and everything works great, so I definitely recommend it, and will be getting more when I run out.
