Not what I expected.
Didnât bond well wouldnât heat up even at high temp. But honestly itâs manageable with paste or in my case I used flux. Just be sure to use the right tip and to heat the metal where you want to bond than bring soldier to heated surface and make contact. What I do like is how thin it is makes it easier to micro solder.

For lead solder, it doesn’t flow well, actually, flows worse than non-leaded solder
I don’t know why but it doesn’t flow well. I added flex from a tub of rosin flux and it still didn’t flow well. I tried a 0.031-inch roll of Kester and it flows great. I need solder that flows but is 0.015-inch diameter for small surface mounted parts. The roll of non-lead solder flows better and it doesn’t flow well.

I weighed this with an accurate digital scale including the spool and other packaging it was 40g. If you discount 10g for the spool it’s probably about 30g total.
