Absolutely great kit
My whole family loved this thing. Very nicely designed and easy to build. Using the batteries compartment as the stand is also a good ideaThe only issue is that batteries are inside and to change them (eventually) you have to take it all apart. It would be nice to be able to replace the batteries from th outside.

Great starter project for people wanting to learn to solder!!
Purchased as a gift to help encourage learning new things and getting out of the comfort zone. It did exactly that! This was an entry level project in preparation for the next project which is more advanced.

Great kit! The included color instructions are the best I’ve seen. As long as you follow the instructions to the letter, including very quick solder joints so you don’t heat up the LEDs too much, it works awesome.

Cute little project
Cute little project for beginners. Just take your time and make sure you get the LEDs in correctly the first time, and it will put a smile on your face when you are done!

Was able to accomplish this even as a beginner!
I’ve been learning how to solder and this kit was very valuable. The part in particular I’m extremely happy about is how clear and concise the instructions were. I didn’t feel like at any point I was at risk of making a mistake from unclear instructions like some of the other kits I’ve bought.

This soldering kit is perfect! Iâve done many soldering kits and Iâm not lying when I say 80% kits you order via Amazon do not come with specific instructions whatsoever. My biggest issue was how some of these soldering kits with no instructions are difficult without some sort of electronics knowledge. This one is an absolute exception! Great way to learn soldering also and highly recommend.
