Not much to it
Got this to practice skills, but not much soldering to do. They don’t tell you about the long lead on LED light being positive, you need to figure that out. That isn’t a problem, you can look it up and learn it, which really is better, you are less likely to forget. What is bad is no battery holder! It shows it in pictures but not sure they really want to send it they don’t tell you when to solder it, everything else is listed. I’m sending my order back, it says 4.5V in description. My question is, why didn’t they use a 4.5V (3 battery) holder instead of 6V (4 battery) holder shown in picture then they wouldn’t have to use as many resistors to get it down to 4.5V? No problem on my kit, no battery holder at all.

Poor instructions
A basic soldering kit, that was both fun, but also frustrating. Starting with opening the package, there’s no battery tray. The instructions are terrible for a beginner, and assume anyone buying this kit has a understanding of wiring schematics. The only option is to refer to the product listing to get the parts in the right place. The LED’s were also a problem area. Apparently the long end is (+), but then is the white section on the board common (-)? There’s a jumper wire shown. In order to add that, I needed to use a leftover piece of resistor wire. This could be a good kit with better instructions, and a battery tray.
