Fast and cheap
Comes with everything you need and it heats up extremely fast. Multiple tips and a nice plastic case to keep it in too. Best of all, no annoying power button in the middle of the cord like other models youâll find. Definitely a good value and with good build quality.

Nice box, EXCELLENT customer service
I got ready to use this once before, but didn’t have the right components. When I went to warm it up for the second time, it read H-E which I assume means the heating element is broken after further investigation.Update:Dmyond reached out and offered to Refund/Replace the initial purchase! VERY impressed by the speed and degree of customer service. For a starter kit I would recommend this, it had everything you need and with customer support it’s unbeatable.

Great for home use. It works on 110v and 220v, so can use anywhere in the world. I do! Digital display is helpful and setting temperature is not hard

This soldering iron uses a 120v plug with a soft and pliable cord that doesn’t feel too stiff. The soldering iron heats to the set temperature quickly within 15 seconds and it holds its temperature fairly well. Something I noticed however, is that it also tends to cool quickly when working near components with heatsinks or large areas of solder.The tips are a standard size and easy to find replacements which is nice and they include a good variety of what I typically use. The build quality feels average and the soldering iron is comfortable to hold with a silicone grip and the handle doesn’t get hot. The digital display is bright, easy to read and I like that the buttons have a firm tactile click to prevent accidental adjustment.Overall this is a good starter kit and includes a convenient portable storage case. The case is made of hard plastic, holds everything securely and includes the basics needed to start soldering. The case is somewhat bulky however, and it’s not very compact although it allows for adding additional tools if needed. The solder sucker works ok for removing large amounts of solder however it’s not the greatest for small work and I prefer to use solder wick instead.

This is a nice handy little kit that comes with everything you need for quick soldering jobs. As per the listing, it comes with 6 tips, 2.2% flux soldering wire, soldering paste, desoldering pump, and a stand which holds water and a sponge for cleaning, as well as a place to put down the hot tip.This all comes in a pretty sturdy plastic case to keep everything organized for when you need it.There are 6 tips with different shapes for different functions. Changing the tip is as easy as unscrewing the base, sliding out the old tip and popping on the new one.The soldering iron itself is lightweight, and easy to use. It has a 5′ cord which gives you enough room to do the job. Adjusting the temperature is easy, and you can dial in the specific temperature you want from 180C to 480C.I deducted a star because the listing said the temperature range is 200-500C, where it’s actually 180-480C.Are there better soldering irons out there that can heat up more & faster? Sure, you could get a more expensive professional grade one. But for a DIYer who doesn’t solder every day, I’d say this is a handy little kit, especially if you do soldering on small items like circuit boards. This is a nice portable little kit which contains everything you need for quick jobs.
