Worked perfect
Previously bought a cheap solder on amazon that was complete garbage. Wouldnt solder consistently and was slow to power up. Tried this one and it heats up right away and actually soldered properly and consistently. I cant speak for longevity but for a one time job to repair some glasses it worked perfect for my needs

Soldering Iron Kit- $13 Brick
Literally did not get hotter than 80 degress C. I bought this to do a small repair on a piece of circuitry and it did not work at all. Didn’t heat up,, the solder wire was just straight stainless steel wire, and the tips corroded really quickly after one use. I rarely feel the need to immediately return something, but this was a no-brainer for me. Don’t get this, simply put.

Why Didn’t I Buy This Sooner
I have needed one of these for YEARS. When I think of the hundreds of hours this would have saved over the years when doing my gardening. I use solo cups for my up planting and putting the holes in the cups for drainage takes forever. This tool made it done in minutes. So glad I purchased this and it works great.
