So good I have two of these!
I use mine for working on some laptops especially where the power input connector goes bad. Small and slim and perfect for using on my guitars to change potentiometers (pots) and changing out pickups saving me hundreds of dollars from relying on a luthier. Works great and heats up quickly once you tin the tip properly and for the money you can’t beat it. Over 2 years of use on my first one and still looks brand new. I purchased a second one as a backup just in case. Easy to operate and good temperature read out. Great for big or small hands and gives you pinpoint accuracy. Makes soldering and unsoldering especially easy. A little practice and you’ll be an ace at it.Just remember to properly ventilate your work area, solder does have lead in it. Very maneuverable and is extremely comfortable in your hand.

Saved money and taught myself a new – What’s not to like !!
I had to solder a connection in my Fender Stratocaster (the wiring for the jack where you connect the cable to the guitar) I called a big name store and they wanted $50 and i had to leave my guitar with them for a week, plus the drive back and forth was 20 miles each trip. So I did some research and ordered this off Amazon and as usual it arrived the next day and I was able to fix the issue in about 15 minutes, and in no time I was able to plug the cable in my Fender American Stratocater Guitar and jam away, no issues. Prior to this I had never used a soldering iron before and now I am doing soldering work for family and friends for Free !!! Great product and great service from Amazon and all that at an unbeatable price.

Better than I expected
So far I’ve been quite pleased with this tool. It does heat up quickly, though according to my infrared thermometer, the temperature on the display is a little off. Nonetheless, it works well.

It works on lead free solder
Wanted to repair a ps5 controllerâs stick drift and replace the analog joystick on it with Hall effect joystick.Melting the lead free solder was a huge pain with another inferior soldering iron I had.With this one it was very easy. I cranked up temp to 380-450 and it was able to melt the solder easily to desolder the stick.Itâs good to get that ability and feature from this product.The included tips are all very good, the knife tip can help you melt two pins at a time. You can use the pointed tip to empty the holes after youâve desoldered a pin out. Itâs a good product for the use case.Build quality wise it looks cheap and there is no on off button. But hey, itâs 10$⦠I canât complain. Good for one off repairs.

It’s good but doesn’t last
I get one about every three to for months. They work awesome but burn out after awhile. The’re inexpensive so it’s worth it especially if you don’t use it much. I use mine daily.

For a beginner, this was a breeze
I had to purchase a solder gun because no one I know has one, which I found to be odd. So I figured I would bite the bullet and get one for my friend groups.I needed to solder a hole in a stainless steel bowl, which is very hard to do. This soldering gun was almost fully equipped to handle the job, for example, the heat supply only goes up to 480C, I read that I needed to heat up the stainless steel way above the melting point of the solder so I ended up using a butane lighter initially and finished the job with this solder gun.I really like it, it light, it heats up quickly from its sleep mode and it got the dang job done. Plus it’s super slim and compact so it’s not taking up a lot of space.It does come with a small hard block of resin and a small tube of solder, so it’s ready to go out of the box. You just have to find a brush or something to apply the resin.

Performs as it should
I bought this because I needed to solder something that was too big for the 25W pencil that I had. This worked well. The temperature control was a luxury for me.

Las puntas se deforman del calor, especialmente las finas muy rápido. En general como aparato, me gustó.
