The soldiering gun feels light. Once you understand the vague instructions (not much detail) the gun works awesome! There were no instructions for the soldiering pump but other than that a great product.

DONT BUY THIS HORRIBLE DANGEROUS SOLDERING IRON
I have owned this soldering iron for under two months and it has already stopped working and fallen apart. The entire front of the iron split off at its ceramic core while I was soldering a wire. The entire front metal heating core fell off and onto my hand burning my glove and then my skin. It left me with a horrible burn. Stay away from this dangerous item. It doesnât work well, and it will hurt you. Iâm so upset as Iâm a student without very much money to spend on essential items to use for soldering and my valuable tool not only broke within weeks of owning it but seriously burned my in the process.

No additional tips included
Gun works fairly well but it did not include additional the additional tips as shown. Also, it doesnât feed the solving wire after the first apple was used.

Hard to keep pin pointed on solder joint
Spool didn’t feed very well – I’m not that steady but I was trying to solder a cage I had for plants. Solder did not stick – feeding solder balled up. Not like the older times that you used solder, flux and iron to attach things. Maybe I’m not the best to review electronic soldering since that is not the reason for the purchase.

Que es un mal producto, dejo de funcionar después de tres o cuatro usos. Desafortunadamente no lo he ocupado mucho y por eso no pude devolverlo a tiempo, Lástima de $500.00 tirados a la basura.

If possible I would give a minus rating as this is NOT suitable for use in the UK as it is of US manufacture and only works on US voltage. So dangerous to use in Britain!

I am used to soldering using the ancient rod and manually holding the wire. This makes it a lot easier to get soldiering done as it frees up one hand. It heats up fairly quickly and is very easy to maneuver. Overall, a good tool.

After a minute it was very hot. Not sure if it will retain its heat over the long term but its hot out of the gate. It solders well (replace the solder that came with it, it beads up and does not flow on circuit boards). The wire feed works well. I wish I had this years ago, it is nice having a free hand to hold the board, wire or connector.
