Everything you need to start soldering that board
This is a nice soldering set that comes in hard plastic case. The soldering iron has an ON/OFF button and temperature control. Set includes a decent amount of solder, a nice de-soldering tool, a stand, set of tips and some flux. Totally worth the money.

Works great, easy to use, adjustable sleep timer
UPDATE: I included a couple of photos of 18, 16, 14, and 12 gauge wire before and after soldering with this iron. I did not use the included solder, as I don’t think it works that well for heavier gauge wire like 14 or 12 gauge. Instead, I used Kester 60/40 .050 solder that you can get right here on Amazon. And while you can use the large knife tip to accomplish what I did, I highly recommend getting larger tips if you are going to do larger soldering projects or heavy gauge wire. You need to match the tip to the job, large pieces need a large tip. Excessive heat is not going to make soldering easier. In fact, it will vaporize the flux very quickly and make it more difficult. I used a 5.2mm chisel tip to do these wires. You can find a pack of 5 here; (just copy and paste or do a search for 900M 5.2mm soldering tips) https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-900M-T-S3-5-2mm-Chisel-Soldering/dp/B008J80YLA/ref=pd_ybh_a_9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HY6ZC252G21GETZK9ZJX Or you can get another assortment pack that includes a 5.2mm chisel tip, a very large bevel tip, and an extra long narrow chisel and conical tip. You can find them here; https://www.amazon.com/Soldering-Tabiger-X-Tronic-Station-Different/dp/B077V1VND5/ref=pd_ybh_a_20?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0RTTGPXXGG8KPSC79NTR_____________________________________________________________This iron works great for the light to moderate use I will do with it. It heats pretty quickly. Has an adjustable sleep timer, and all you have to do is pick up the iron to wake it up, and in a short time it will be back up to temperature. So be sure to turn it off when you are finished. I was able to solder 12 gauge wire without a problem, and it did it quickly when set at 600 degrees F using the long edge of the knife tip. Smaller gauge wire can be done at lower temperatures. I used Kester 60/40 rosin core solder which is extremely good solder. It takes standard 900M series tips which can be found easily here on Amazon. I prefer to work mostly with “bevel” or “screwdriver” tips, so I got those to use now. If you plan on soldering wires and/or electronics, pick up some rosin flux for electronics to make your soldering much easier. And make sure to coat the tip with solder before putting it away to keep it from oxidizing. If I have any problems I will update my review.

Heats up FAST, solders and desolders effectively
I especially like the fact that the iron is ready to use barely seconds after I’m ready to start soldering. I like having the temperature display. It’s fun watching the temperature change to come up to or down to whatever you’ve set it to. Not to mention that if you forget to turn it off, it will go to “sleep”, but wake up as soon as the iron detects movement.I’ve had two disappointments. The first is that my iron stopped heating up today. The second is that when I called the phone number provided on the web site, I got a recording that told me the phone number had not yet been assigned to a customer. So I went through Amazon’s automated on-line system instead. When I asked for warranty service, it told me that’s handled directly by Amazon, would I like someone to call me? I answered yes, and entered my land line #. The phone rang before I could get to it. I described my problem, and was given a choice of a refund or replacement. Since I’ve been satisfied with the iron, I chose the latter, and was told someone would come by my home tomorrow to exchange the iron for a brand new one. I don’t know what time of day that’ll happen, but if it doesn’t you’ll hear about it.

Great little soldering iron with lots of extras
I like that this unit it is compact and has a lot of extras. The stand in my opinion is too small, the desolderer was a great addition and add-on, being able to change the settings from â to â as a very easy process. I will not be able to use the Tweezers in that they were confiscated by my wife for other uses. I soldered both 18 gauge wire and 20 gauge wire and the results were very satisfying. I was also able to make a Y solder joint using 3 18 Gauge wires. Overall this will replace at least one of my soldering irons and may be the next goto solderer

Beginner or casual expert, this is for you!
First off I am a complete novice to soldering. Just had to get that out! This soldering iron is great for beginners (such as myself) and for causal experts! Heats up fast and was simple to use. The contents that came with I used right away when I got it like the solder and (solder sucker 🙂 ). If I do more on a regular basis I could see the need for a more thorough temperature control. I also love the fact that it small small and I can put it up when not in use. I also invested in a soldering mat, just a suggestion. Love it all!

Excellent adjustable soldering iron for a great price
My main goal was to find a soldering iron with finer tips than the Weller iron that I already own. This unit came with several fine tips so the adjustable temp and accessories were just icing for me. It heats up very quickly, maybe quicker than the weller unit. I like that this has a heavy duty grounded cable while the weller on has a thin ac/dc adapter. Only time will tell if the iron holds up but so far Iâm very happy with the product for the price.
