Super value, works great
This product is a bit on the hokey side but it works incredibly well. I was used to using a 25W Weller iron and this thing at 60W completely blew it away. It’s easy to use, heats up quickly and does the job. It even comes with solder! This kit is an incredible value. At $10 it’s virtually free.

Excellent value for the money! Gets the basic jobs done with ease!
Itâs a very cheap iron and it shows, but I just needed something for some occasional quick and dirty soldering in my apartment. It does good enough for some basic soldering but donât expect to be doing and SMD rework or anything with this. The tips are surprisingly pretty good and are holding up well. I recommend not using the included sponge, do yourself a favor and get a brass shavings tip cleaner to protect the tips! My only complaint so far is that the temp control is kinda finicky, so I just max it out. Also, the stand is really small and easy to knock the iron off of, other than those issues this is a great budget kit for on-the-go quick work or basic stuff, and itâs a great price for what you get.

Value for the price.
The quality and performance of the tool and supplied attachments exceeded my expectations based on the list price. A great value for starters and vets alike if your looking for a cheaper alternative than the super expensive replacements on the market. The last test will be time but for now I personally recommend the buy.

Great Product for my Purpose
This soldering kit has worked perfectly for my intended purpose. See pics – Use to make added drain holes in my Orchid pots. The price was was great for the iron with stand & different size tips. Gets hot very quickly. The stand supports the iron just fine. I was happily surprised by the well made storage bag that came with it. Everything in its place & folds up compactly as pictured!

inexpensive soldering iron
I needed a soldering iron for one simple project, attaching headers to a couple of ESP32 development boards that came with detached headers. I could accomplish this using this iron, with a bit of annoyance. Its stand was unusable. It is very poorly designed and nothing prevents it from folding and dropping hot iron on the table, so be extra careful if you still want to use this stand. It doesn’t help that the power cord of the iron is rather stiff and its pull alone is enough to fold the stand and drop the iron. The power regulator of the iron was off center and couldn’t be moved, however this was easy to solve by disassembling and reassembling the iron.

Just right for soldering really small electronics
I used this to fix a very tiny broken circuit in my 40 year old HP-41C calculator. The connection was so small that I needed to buy an adjustable magnifying light just to be able to see what I was doing. This soldering iron worked perfectly and my father was amazed that I was able to solder/fix such a small connection. The solder tips provided are useful for a wide variety of fixes. Nothing beats having the right tool for the job and I would buy this again in a heartbeat, especially given the low price. Good luck with your own “micro-soldering” jobs!

Handy for occasional use
This iron is good for occasional soldering. Handy to keep on the work bench. It’s pretty lightly made so I would never expect it to stand up in a production environment but for hobby use it’s fine.
