Gets to temp and has a wide assortment of attachments
I can’t say this is a professional model, but it’s great for home use. I have no way to tell if it gets to the correct temperature, but it definitely melts my solder without issue. The handle seems to insulate well and I look for many years of use with it. It works great for what I need, those minor and miscellaneous soldering projects.

Amazing
I have come to love this soldering iron. I purchased it for a quick job and it’s out performed more expensive ones I’ve used. It’s great for small projects doing bread board soldering. I’ve been super pleased with it. I use alot of butane torches which heat up fast but don’t have this level of temperature control and heats up fast.

Sufficient for my use
I bought this mainly to fix some jewelry but was surprised there are no directions, just a little sheet switch the parts of the soldering item labeled and some warnings. Having never soldered before I contacted the company who said theyâd send them and several days later sent a pdf of what I had! I found tutorials online and figured out enough to solder jump rings on my jewelry. Here are my thoughts after doing that.The kit includes electrical wiring things which I will never use. The wire included is very thin and isnât labeled which kind of solder it is. The flux is called soldering paste but no brush was included to apply it. The stand is small but adequate. Thereâs a desoldering pump I have no idea how to use and screwdrivers that donât go any where that I can see.I wasnât sure what temperature to set it to for the wire included so started at 350°. Not knowing what metal the wire is I turned the temperature up and when I went back to 350° it didnât work. I was ready to return it but tried again later and it worked. Kind of leery of that but Iâm leaving it unplugged when not in use.All in all for jump rings it was fine but thatâs not the only reason I bought it.

The first time I used it it heated up to maximum. Worked well but now itâs useless.Not working anymore.Itâs a waste of money. Donât buy this
