Very Handy to Have and Works Well
I donât usually need to solder things very often, but itâs nice to have the capability when the need arises. This soldering kit looked like it would be good enough at a very attractive price. About two days after it arrived, my grandkids received STEM Advent calendars. Theyâre good kits, but some of the wire connections are better soldered than just twisted. Iâve soldered more in the past week than in the past ten years! This soldering kit has worked great. It gets good and hot, and with such a fine tip, I was able to heat up wires and terminals without melting any plastic or insulation. It comes with several different tips, soldering paste, tweezers, a roll of solder, and a rest for the soldering iron. The box it ships in is good for storing the kit, too.

Works well!
This is a pretty okay odds-and-ends kit. If you arent soldering a lot, this setup is perfectly fine. Lighter duty, smaller overall.Nicer kits will have better stands, larger starting spools, and/or nicer tips.I do not solder often, so this is a nice little kit to throw in a toolbox for odds and ends style work. Really like it

Quick and precise
This is a great beginner set for soldering. The adjustable temperature is pretty nice, though I have some doubts about exactly how precise the thermometer is while it’s heating up (the temp increases a little too consistently to seem accurate). However, this kit has everything you need to get started with soldering and it’s very easy to use. It even comes with extra tips! Great soldering iron for the money.

Good Soldering Iron with a Few Minor Flaws
This soldering iron works well overall. I appreciate the temperature control feature, and the included tips are easy to change, which adds convenience. However, the included accessories leave something to be desired. The solder is very thin and not ideal for most tasks, and the small cradle is too lightweightâit moves around easily and could potentially be a safety concern. The sponge is also too small to be useful, making it unnecessary in the set. Despite these shortcomings, the soldering iron itself performs well.

Great for the price
This thing heats up fast and is ready to go in about a minute or so. I like the digital display for setting the right temperature for what needs to be soldered. Not sure if the temperature is accurate, but it doesn’t need to be to solder. The little stand is cheap, but keeps the hot end off the bench, so it is just fine. Great nicely priced product.

Nice little solder kit for the shop.
This is a nice little kit for solder projects. It heats up relatively quickly and solders fine. The solder is not labeled as leaded or lead-free, which really should be indicated. I’m guessing it has lead, so take care when using it. It is very easy to operate and set the temperature. It also comes with a nice bit of solder paste. It has basically all you need for a quick solder project at a decent price.

Good deal
Nice starting kit for small part soldering. It comes with everything you need to get going. It has extra tips and adjustable heat settings. There are a lot of soldering sets available out there. For $12, I’d purchase this again

More than enough power, no auto-shutoff
This is an awesome set, the 100W iron is far more powerful than my other 30W and blows away my first (junk) 15W iron. The tips included allow for small work disassembling boards in tighter spots. And the little accessories are all keepers (even the little desk stand is better than the stamped ones that came with my last iron set). Everything meets or exceeds my expectations for the price. The only downside is the lack of auto-shutoff, it’s not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. It’s a smart enough digital program to have password protection, but not auto-shutoff. I wish it had that feature.
