It works well, but…
It’s good solder. Easy to use, flows well, good melting point, and my connections look and feel strong. However, keep in mind that this is primarily a tin based solder. I usually use silver bearing solder, and while this technically does have silver in it, the percentage is virtually insignificant. If used in automotive PCB’s it will probably crack after a decade or two of being subjected to changes in temperature. But if used for soldering wires together, then it works just fine and will last a very long time (not that a “decade or two” isn’t a long time, haha).

Did the job
Needed this to install a Retro Gem in my PlayStation 2 since apparently Sony used lead free solder on these consoles. I didnât have any problem getting the solder to flow and mod came out great. Though I should have found a smaller gage because this one was a bit to thick for how small the solder joints I was working on.

It is as shown.
Notes melt temp is 419F. Worked fine with my fixed temp iron. Note the roll is on the smaller side, but there is a decent amount of product here. The wire diameter of 0.8 mm is good for general PCB board work. Origin of product is China.

Lead free solder melts at too high a temperature for some delicate electrical work.
I get why solder should be lead free but this is not always practical due to the high melting temperature. It works for some projects where that is not an issue.
