Not to hard, runs fast.
Easy to put together if you can do the 2 surface mount chips. Mine seems to run a little fast so if your looking for an accurate timer this might not be it. Would love to se an external crystal for the microcontroller for accurate timing.

Good Intermediate Kit
I am building solder skills and I happened to need a timer. I call this intermediate skill level because the surface mount components are not pre- installed. Great price and challenge. Instructions were ok. User guide available. Would buy again. Hour glass functioned as it should when turned over.
