TurboSets Function
Upgraded S99 Soldering Iron
In this version, we have updated following functions:
1. “TurboSets” – This is a new function of S99. It supports 2 temperature adjustment modes: manual & preset. The default mode is manual.
2. “Protocol” – Extended PPS voltage range, can up to 21V now. Add PD15V option.
3. “TempStep” – Temp range changes to 1-100.
4. “Brightness” – Brightness range is updated from 1 to 10.
5. Cancel the startup delay.
Note:
1. S99 Soldering iron does not always automatically select the correct protocol and voltage. This isn’t caused by the soldering iron or firmware but depends on the quality of the USB cable and charger used, as well as the chip used in its production.
2. When you use 2.5Ω tips with a less powerful charger, the S99 may restart. Try another “Protocol” option to lower the voltage. Or try reducing the “Power” percentage. The “power” regulation works on some sources, but not all.
3. The PPS protocol is recommended for 2.5Ω soldering tips, and the PD protocol is recommended for 5.5Ω soldering tips. If you want to use the PD20 protocol for 2.5Ω tips, please use more powerful chargers to get the maximum output power of the soldering iron.
4. If you want to use 2.5Ω tips, please set the protocol to PPS, then s99 can work normally. But the premise is that the power plug you used can support relevant PPS protocol.

Great for quick and small soldering work!!
My primary use is for soldering my FPV Drones. Great for soldering battery connectors, flight controllers, receivers, header pins, etc.Heats up fast to get soldering quickly. Various available tips for different jobs.Easy to use and works great! I’d definitely recommend it!!

This is my new favorite soldering iron
There’s so many different ways to power it that makes it so convenient I use old DJI phantom battery packs and other battery packs as well as different DC power adapters because it handles the voltage range from 12 to 24 volts. Makes it where it is extremely portable and easier to get into tight places if needed. The digital controls are very easy to use and the temperature range I have checked it is accurate. I’ve done several projects with it so far and have some additional different style tips ordered. But so far so good it is amazed me for the price at how well it seems to be made and how good it functions.

Great for drones
I bought this basically because it comes with a power supply and an xt60 connector. It heats up quick and works great. Seems identical to the ts100. I wish there was an option to buy it as a package with a couple other tips.

More affordable TS100 clone that even takes IronOS !
This SEQURE SQ001 is amazing !….just as amazing as that other great soldering iron wonder, the TS100…and it’s no wonder….it’s a clone of the TS100, for about $20 less ? I had no idea they were clones till I had a lock-up bug with the as-delivered 2.18? firmware from Sequre, so down-loaded and installed their latest 3.1 (actually marked 3.0 on their website)….it worked fine, solved the “stuck” problem when I switched it from Right-hand to Left-hand display orientation and couldn’t get it to respond after that….so started searching on “Sequre SQ001 firmware” and discovered “IronOS” ! ð® AMAZING ! This little, space-age soldering wonder, the TS100, even has it’s own hobbyist custom Firmware development program out there, FREE to download, that adds and perfects features….and I found it mentioned somewhere on the IronOS site the SQ001 is a clone of the TS100….so I downloaded and successfully installed the latest IronOS….and it’s working perfectly ! 𥳠The only “downsides” are I really liked the clever animated icons in the stock SQ001 firmware, which are gone in the updated Sequre 3.0 firmware, and in IronOS…but both options fixed the bug I experienced in the as-delivered 2.18 firmware (or was it 2.15?ð¤)…and both updated firmware options seem a little harder to read because they’re using smaller “fonts.” But, regardless of FW version, what’s not to like about a slightly cheaper TS100 in the Sequre SQ001 ?? ð¥³P.S. my primary need was for SMT rework (Surface Mount Technology), and the included B2 tip is really a bit too fat for that….do yourself a favor and order their excellent TS-C1 for SMT work…really nice, fine tip.P.P.S. I just remembered a slightly flaky quality issue with the SQ001….the hex wrench they included with my iron doesn’t fit the set-screw holding the tip in place…it’s just slightly too big for the screw ! But, possibly because Sequre knows about the issue?, there were 3 spare screws in the bag with the wrench, that DO fit the wrench. But I had one of these cool multi-tip sets that had the correct 1.5mm hex tip needed for the as-received set screw, so I just used that….also, the instruction sheet is fairly poor….you really have to read between the lines and experiment to understand navigating controls and configuration…but that’s true of the superior IronOS too….so jump in and figure it out…it’s worth it !Really glad I bought this updated 21st century soldering iron….oh…forgot to mention more “amazing”….after initial fire-up of ~30 seconds to 300°C working temp, later times are down around 8 to 10 seconds…Totally AMAZING ! ð®ð¥³

Stop struggling!
Most of us start off with a cheap soldering iron. And itâs worked for everything so far.But now youâve got a nice kit with lots of delicate parts. Having your iron at the right temperature with the right tip really makes a difference. Get one!

Great portable sodering iron
This sodering iron is great for on the go repairs just hook it up to one of the batteries you might use for your rc vehicle and a few seconds later your making repairs with a onboard digital display for temp and few other parameters it heats up fast and holds as well it will shut it self off when left unused for a length of time which is great for someone like me who will no doubt forgetð

Get a spare iron
Never thought Iâd ever be anxious about not having a working soldering iron at the ready. Iâve gone thru several of these over the last year and youâre dead in the water when they fizzle out so Iâm hoping this one which is dual ac or lipo powered performs and lasts for a while.
