They work well
The right tool for the job. Stop using your fingers or skinny tweezers. These help keep you from messing up the fish flesh.

These are the best tool I’ve used for pulling pin-bones from Salmon
and… these really *are* made in Japan!I’ve been using plyer type tools and while they work well, they are a mess to clean up after… and you are pulling with your write at an odd angle. With these you are pulling straight back toward your elbow making the work less tiring.

I had to modify them by grinding the grooves, very slippery , other than that , does the job .

Seem to actually be Japanese
Nifty, sturdy, easy to clean. Most of all I really like the compact size, most other ones seem much larger which isn’t ideal for precise tweezing action unless you have very large hands. However I haven’t tried using this to debone fish. I use this to pick carrot bits out of my little dog’s food.
