This product seems to work as advertised. Plugs have been turned 90 degrees, but this is not an issue for me. The only item where this is likely to matter are heavy electrical users, like appliances; and you should not plug appliances in one of these units, anyway. If you need surge protection for appliances, you should probably have a level-2 protector install into your circuit breaker box by an electrician. One of those will protect your whole house from things like lightning strikes.

Great For Plugs Behind Furniture
I bought this because I live in a house with very old wiring and my concern that electricity surges might cause damage to my devices. This was very easy to install and offers great protection.There are two plugs on each side and 2 USB plugs on the top. This setup is perfect for my outlet in my bedroom because it is located behind a large piece of furniture. Because the outlets are on the sides, I can access the plug without having to move the furniture or bend the power cord o my other devices. The design is just all-around smart.The cost is somewhat steep, but it’s well worth it to protect your devices from power surges. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Saved my computer when other surge protector didn’t save the tv
So this thing is great for putting in an outlet where you don’t have much space between the wall and something else. I used it between wall and a bed. Works GREAT. My phone can charge so fast with it. It also saved my computer when my building’s electricity went on the fritz (my tv was not as lucky on a cheaper protector). In my case I didn’t need a long cord so this thing has been the best and is one of the few things I have rated 5 stars. It’s better to buy one of these than to see your electronics and data die to electric malfunctions.

Item was not like the picture shown.
The outlets on the side are not what was displayed in the picture. They are turned 90 degrees. I have a bigger plug that I wanted to run down the side of this surge protector. Now the plug has to be turned 90 degrees and sticks out from the wall instead of being flush with this surge protector. I would send it back, but I had to rip the box apart to get it out.

ROCKETFISH is the BEST!!
All I ever use – Rocketfish is the best! It prevents any issues. Iâve had electric fireplaces in the past and the plug got too hot and melted the unit. Rocketfish power adapter shut it down and prevented any damage from happening to my house wiring. I only use ROCKETFISH power adapters…
