I thought it was just like a soldering iron, but for plastic – it was still a good deal.But it’s in fact a multifunctional tool which also allows you to cut plastic, cut nylon rope, and repair plastic parts reinforcing it with steel wire.The last part is the most interesting – basically, you’re heating the wire (which comes with the tool, and I believe you can make some yourself), then partially submerging it into plastic and let it cool down. Then you remove (with the included cutters, or your own cutters) part of the wire that is outside, and that’s it – the wire inside the plastic is holding it together. You can apply multiple wires to reinforce it as much as you want.The tool is very comfortable to use and heats up super fast (only a few seconds). Comes with an easy to understand manual.Very happy with my purchase!

My wheelbarrow had a massive crack in its pvc body.I knew I had to try to fix it with hot staples.It was my fist time so it looks like Frankensteinâs but it is now fixed⦠by myself :-)Pretty hard to cut the staples with the provided pliers but definitely possible.The staples are not magnetic so they wonât rust I think.The flying pieces of metal could be dangerous so protect your eyes! And hands.Very happy with this product that do not cost an arm.It comes with many staples, so I should be set for a while.I do recommend!

I like this plastic welder mostly because of it’s small form factor and LED light. Came with a few different styles of “stitches” for corners and flats. Even came with a pair of cutters to trim the excess of the “stitches”. Works great!
