terrible
instructions in Chinese, but i figured it out, however, take note this in a non auto igniting unit, so you have to supply you own lite to lite it. i guess you use a match or something, haven’t tried lilting it yet, looks like it might explode…lol, it might work ok, but it is definitely is not worth 12 bucks i paid,

Handy Tool. Not for commercial/heavy usage!
This review is for the yellow Butane Soldering Iron Kit. Date, 6/23.Let us keep in mind that the cost of this item is just over $10.00 us. With that in mind, I’ll review.Overall the torch seams well made. However, there is a heating element under the soldering tip that does not look as if it will last very long. If that heating element goes bad, well, that is the end of the soldering tip usage. The torch does work very well. Just for a test, I re-flowed a few solder joints on an old circuit board. The joints flowed like right now. I was very surprised at how quickly the torch melted that old solder. How long will the torch last? I can’t say, it may last years, or it might only last a month. One thing is for sure, the torch is not commercial quality. In other words…this torch is for hobby use only. Do not start blowing glass, or repairing circuit boards, etc, on a daily basis, and then leave a bad review if the torch quickly fails. If you DO NEED a torch for heavy usage, this IS NOT what you need! The see through fuel tank is a very nice option. No more guessing at how much fuel is in the tank. I purchased the torch for working on wires connected to an antenna. I’m hopeful that this tool will last at least a few years with such limited usage. I’ll post back if the torch fails in short order.

Does not function as a soldering iron. Makes a hell of a torch though.
Wouldn’t even have given it accept that a reading is required. Only able to assemble from pictures. All instructions in Chinese. The threads in the coupler are cross threaded. And if this thing is supposed to function anything like my old butane iron. It doesn’t in the least bit. Cannot get the heat chamber to ignite for the iron to function. Not even worth the 10 I spent on it.

Very cheaply made. Works but very cheap.
Donât like the fact this is very cheaply made. Like I knew it was cheap, but this is like a 3 dollar lighter.

Easy to work with
holds temperature even off for long while if you work close and don’t want flame near your work

So cheaply made!
Iâm not sure which is more scary. Itâs being crooked and it works? Or it works but it looks crooked.
