Variable Temp doesn’t turn on until setting 8 out of 9 settings.
Even after receiving a 2nd replacement both units don’t turn on until you turn the knob up to number 8 and 9 is the highest setting. Makes it impossible to know what temp range you’re using. I tried to reach out to seller to tell them of problem but could only reach Amazon customer service. This feels very heavy and would like to try it, but adjustable temperature is not functional.

Legit uppgrayyed over smaller welder
Been using this small HF 80w. Its ok, takes a long time to blend into the based plastic. This thing is a monster in comparison in every way. Heat control, end are massive, real 200w consumption. I tried a few claiming to be 150w, but none actually drew even 1/2. Maybe about 1/2. If you are repairing old plastics all the time, this is the tool to get.

One of the tips was not threaded which make it unusable.
