Working as it should
Very helpful and definitely a great experience and the price v.s having a person having to give you a hand.Definitely consider this a helping hand.And actually thinking of changing it some with the accessories that Amazon sells, simply drill and add as much as you want.Great value.

Not bad, useful and does the job
Works well, clamps hold wires and boards, and the arms can support it. However the arms are very creaky, very telling its just all plastic, even the balls inbetween for rotation, but it’s pretty cheap so not really a problem.The wire holder bar is not really any good. It works, but with no way to hold it in place, it comes off very easily, even when just grabbing more wire, so I don’t find myself actually using it very often.Sponge is pretty useless since it comes with the much more useful wire cleaner, and it actually hold the brassive ball pretty well. The flux is also not bad quality, it works well, and comes with a lot, so it’s a very nice addition.The plate is metal, but it being so small does mean this thing becomes pretty easy to tip, and the actual clamps are pretty small, so you can’t hold thick bundles of wire, or just thick wire in general, but not sure how much of a problem that is because I don’t know how often your going to work with 6 or lower awg wire with helping hands like this.Honestly a very decent product, and recommend anyone just looking for a cheap helping hand, this is a good go to. Comes with good flux, a good scrub, and although the arms are creaky, they hold their shape and can hold some good weight to them.

This thing is great
The arms are a bit sticky, but that translates to a really solid hold. The base is large and heavy enough that it doesn’t slide or topple, which is what I was searching for in the first place. I would absolutely buy this again.

Great for macrophotography!
I am a macro photographer; therefore, I’ve been using it to hold leaves and small plants, so the wind doesn’t disturb focusing. It could just be more precise.

The base and arms are solid. Makes soldering so much easier and price is great too. My flux though was completely solid and dried out. ð

Love this tool. I use it for working with stained glass projects. Don’t know how I ever managed without it. Love the little steel wool and flux tin that came with it.The only problem I have is keeping my husband from steeling it for his own workbench. He loves it for working on repairing circuit boards, jewelry and other fiddly repairs. Would make an excellent Father’s Day Gift. Good value for the money. Light, durable and well balanced. That extra set of hands I always need when assembling 3 D glass projects.
