Great product, despite one small issue…
Great product, but one small issue … The directions say to loosen and tighten the tip release screw with a flathead screwdriver, but it actually requires a hex wrench. A hex wrench is even supplied with the tool, so it’s a very weird mistake in the directions. It only wasted some time to find a tiny eyeglass-size screwdriver and try it enough times to realize it wasn’t going to work, so it’s not at all an issue that should affect your decision to buy what is a great little tool for a reasonable price. It’s just something to be aware of to avoid wasting time before getting to work.

It does what it says. It’s solid heavy built good. Doesn’t feel cheap at all it has so many different ways you can lock in the arms and the magnifier. Like 580 degree swivel for all three. I was expecting it to be slightly bigger end that would have made it hands down 5 stars my fault i don’t know size measurements. So my mistake. But it is wonderful … U can see clearly IT’S hands free clamps hold own being worked on hands free magnifier your hand are free to work on whatever u need to. 🙂 cool gadget

Decent Helping Hand for Light Soldering â Could Be Sturdier
I got this to help with soldering multiple XLR cables, and itâs been useful, though a bit flimsy. It holds items in place, but the clamps never feel quite tight enough, so they can still shift with the right amount of pressure. Adjusting too many parts at once can also cause it to tip over. I didnât use the magnifying glass much, but it unexpectedly popped out of the frame, possibly due to loose tension. Despite these issues, itâs still handy for holding items when I need an extra hand while soldering.

Priced right (Neiko 10576A Engraver)
Its an engraver. Turn it on, put tip on something that you want to constructively damage, turn off when done.This is not a “Rotary Engraver”. It also will not readily mark very hard metals like Tungsten. If doing the latter, start with a new tip, and ‘drag’ vertically across surface. Won’t look the best, but will save you a lot of time and re-tracing.

Very well designed and built. I purchased this item primarily as a soldering aid, but I can see that it could also have a multitude of other uses where one needs to hold small parts for assembly or repair. The attached magnifying glass is a definite plus, especially when dealing with tiny delicate pieces. I wish I had this tool years ago. I would highly recommend it…very handy indeed.

O kit vem bem completo, mas ainda não tenho experiência para avaliar a qualidade das “pontas” mas para meus trabalhos em madeira (hobby), atendem 100.Detalhe para a caixa, q parece ser de laminado (sem nenhum acabamento), frágil e muito propensa a sujar, mas apois passar verniz, perdi completamente essa impressão.
