Great tools!
This was a good price for 5 of these. If you break up the set they would make good gifts for the men in your life. Or anyone for that matter. They are great for small crafts like jewelry making and stained glass work. A handy tool for repairing electronics, small plumbing issues, automotive work. The extra tips are very versatile in sizes. It comes with a small stand and sponge. The cord is about 3 1/2 feet long. Nice tools to have in your stash.

Nice starter kit
This kit is a nice starter kit for someone that’s into small hobbies. I am going to use it for hard to reach places in my stained glass work. The tips are versatile and easy to switch out.

Not 60 Watts. These are only 30 Watt soldering irons.
Crank the temperature up to max and plug iron into a watt meter and check for yourself. The maximum wattage reached is only 30 Watts.I wish these sellers would stop lying when these ratings can be easily verified with a $5.00 meter.You are deceiving the customer.Temperature settings on dial impossible to see without a microscope.Irons have difficulty maintaining temperature after heat is sinked onto components and traces on board at only 30 watts.

No switch.
I should have looked closer. In my utilization I keep it off between uses, and now I have to unplug it to turn it off. They all inevitably fail, this one lasted 4 months of irregular use.

For the quality of these heavy duty soldering irons, you cannot go wrong.. I like having extras for backups, and having multiple soldering irons allows different soldering tips for different applications.. For the price point these soldering irons excell in quality, craftsmanship, and durability.. These are 60 watt soldering irons most are only 25-30 watt, the higher wattage allows the use of different/stronger solders that wouldn’t normally melt at lower wattages.. For general use you cannot go wrong, but for truly professional use 100 watt or higher is strongly recommended.. Thank you for supporting America and it’s Armed Forces!!

Good for small fixes around the house
These irons have a good fit in the hand, the non-slip grip allows for good control when soldering. The cord to plug into the wall is a little short. It’s 3 feet so I almost always need an extension cord because rarely do I have an outlet right in front of me & at working height. I really think it should be at least double the length.It does have a thermostat that ranges from 200-450 which is super convenient, but it’s in Celsius-so having to look up the Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion every time you need to set it is annoying. It also comes with an assortment of tips which comes in handy for many applications, I havenât had a situation where I didnât have the right tip. That said it heats up fast and works as it should.

Perfect soldering iron kits for hobbies and DIY projects
These soldering irons are very useful for hobbies and DIY projects. They have a rubber collar on them which is very nice to keep from getting burned and a solid plastic handle that has a red power light lit when it is plugged in. There is a small rotating temperature adjustment knob on the handle which functions great. The 3 foot power cord is flexible and has a reinforced flexible end on it that connects to the handle which makes it easier to control the soldering iron without having to fight with a stiff cord. They include 5 tips and another one already in the unit. I like to upgrade pickups in my guitars which requires some soldering with very fine wiring so these irons will work perfect. There are always projects I am doing around the house which sometimes require some soldering also, especially to repair pre-existing defective solder on items. This is a great set of five soldering irons, each with 6 soldering tips. The only thing missing is some type of stand to hold the iron which most soldering irons include. Other than that though this is a great deal and I highly recommend this soldering gun kit to everyone else.

Having more than one comes in handy
Since these soldering irons have interchangeable tips, you can have several at the ready. Working on several parts may require a chisel tip and then a needle tip for accuracy. Having two hot prevents you from having to let it cool down to change the tip.The size it right and the weight is balanced. I like the fact the temperature setting is adjustable. Previous soldering irons I have owned had one setting…On. Temperature control is important especially if you are working on a circuit board and precision matters. Too hot could carry over to nearby soldered connections you may not want to effect.
