🎡【DIY Ferris Wheel Kit】: The SMD practical soldering kit is used to install to a colorful LED Ferris wheel module. Beautiful and interesting Ferris wheel can spin with excellent lighting effects. The DIY electronic kit is suitable for practicing SMT soldering skills for students, and DIYers , and helpful for learning basic electronic knowledge and circuit principles.
🎡【Great Electronic Soldering Project】: Great diy kit for soldering practice and also suitable for school and family education. Not only to improve your soldering skills, you will also will be more familiar with electronic components and learn more interesting electronics things. But please note, this soldering kit requires certain foundation of basic electronic theoretical knowledge and welding and hands-on ability.
🎡【LED Lighting Effects】: The finished project is a fun Rotating Ferris Wheel with colorful LED lights, which has 10 LED water animation effects. 8 gondolas that glows and turns with the Ferris wheel, make the Ferris wheel more vivid and beautiful. And the project can be controlled by remote control(included), The remote control can switch animations and adjust the speed of animations. Great holiday gift for Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
🎡【Easy to Assemble】: The led light solder kit is easy to build and the principle is simple. The pad and the space between the pads on the PCB board are large enough and LEDs are 1206 large size LED lights, make the SMD components easy to attach and solder. The SMT soldering project kit are suitable for soldering practice and beginners and also can be used as school education practice kits.
🎡【Paper English Manual】: The package comes with a paper instruction manual, you can scan the QR code and download the PDF installation document to introduce the soldering method of each component. Or you can download the User Manual on the Amazon page at Product Guides and Documents.
Customers find the soldering iron to be a fun and educational project. They appreciate the nice design and layout that is DIY-friendly. The wheel itself works well and produces satisfying results. However, some customers have reported issues with the build quality, mechanical design, and difficulty level. Additionally, they dislike the instructions.

Fun little soldering project for various ages and experience levels.
THE KIT: The kit arrived quickly and well packaged. The parts were organized well within the box and were confirmed as being complete. No missing parts and it also included a few extras, just in case parts are lost during building. The instructions are not included with the kit, but there is a card with a QR card that can be used to download a digital version of the instructions. The instructions contained a section that was only wording and a section that has pictures to go along with the steps. Some translation issues, but the gist is there.BUILDING: At first glance it may appear daunting with all of the SMD soldering that needs to be done, but the instructions and design of the components makes it very assembly friendly to those who have moderate soldering experience. The layout is very DIY friendly, which is a great design feature. Good spacing and clearly marked areas on the PCB. To be honest, the most challenging thing I encountered was to remove the protective coating from the acrylic pieces, but the pieces were well protected. Getting the cars to light properly can also be a bit finicky, but some minor tweaking solves the issue quickly. As long as you take your time and follow the steps, you shouldnât have any issues. Once the kit was completed, the result was quite beautiful with the LEDs running various sequences. Looks great on a desktop!CONCLUSION: I highly recommend this to a broad spectrum of audience. This is both a great educational toy for those looking to improve skills and also makes a perfect gift for those soldering enthusiasts who enjoy tinkering. High quality, moderate price and a neat little toy overall!

Visually very pleasing! Great SMD soldering practice kit, but mechanical design needs improvement.
This kit was a challenge only because at my age (61) the SMD parts look even tinier than they ought to! But with a hands-free magnifier, lots of light, and a soldering iron with a small “wedge” tip I was able to complete the assembly in about 5 hours (stretched out over several sessions). The wheel itself works well and looks great, and the gondolas work about as well as you’d expect for something that relies mostly on light, casual contact. They are very light in weight, so you can’t apply a lot of spring tension with the LED wire leads and still expect them to dangle well. And speaking of the LED leads, the amount of bending required (and the critical placement of the bends) was the second most frustrating part of building the kit. And this brings me to the most frustrating part of the assembly, which IMHO should prompt a redesign (and is the only reason for me giving this kit less than a 5-star rating). The circuit board “wheel” is powered through two spring contacts, and since these are not spaced 180 degrees apart they push the top of the wheel at a sizable angle. These springs are also longer and stiffer than they need to be, so they exert a lot of force that causes the wheel to tilt much too far forward, ruining the overall visual appeal. The designers added a decorative bracket to address this, but there’s no bushing on the motor shaft for this to be effective. My recommendation is to place this bracket on the motor shaft BEFORE mounting the circuit board, and then use a non-conductive washer (with a center hole large enough to account for any protrusion of the shaft through the front of the circuit board). Add another, smaller washer on top of this and then secure it with the screw provided. This makes up for much of the tilting, and also compensates a bit for the excessively long/stiff springs. Finally, it’s a good idea to buy some dielectric grease (sold at automotive and hardware stores) and lightly coat the inner contact rings on the circuit board as well as the contact rings for the gondolas. This will reduce wear and tear and oxidation of the rings, springs, and LED lead contact points.

Not for the faint of heart.
This is a neat set that is fun when completed. I do not recommend this as an entry level project. The parts are very small and can be challenging to handle. You won’t be disappointed with the final product if this is in your skill range. It makes for a fun night light.

Great project to practice SMD
Great project to practice SMD but all in all the build quality is bad. When assembled one of the springs touched both tracks. I had to bend the screw a little to stop that from happening. The gymnastics you have to go through to bend the 8 LEDs for the “cars” is an absolute joke and doesn’t work. Plus the springs cause the whole thing to tilt forward from the top so when the “cars” get to the bottom they swing out and don’t make contact. I wound up just soldering the LEDs to the round circle pads instead of having the “cars”.Then you have the fact that after running this for a couple days the springs have already scratched off most of the contact area (pad) so it’s starting to cut out intermittently. Ultimately this product is a massive failure.

Fine practice
Like I say in all my reviews of these products there a 5 for soldering practice, but the quality is terrible getting it to spin with what they give you is next to impossible as are installing the bulb type leds. As for learning to solder smd itâs great
