Nice Kit
I built this for my Grandson and he loves it. Kit is well-engineered and goes together without much difficulty. Instructions are good. Interestingly, the LED panel is an isolated component. Other than power, it has no connection to the rest of the device. It has a microphone and picks up sound from the speakers and even from ambient sounds if they’re loud enough. Interesting way to do it and seems to work fine.

Nice kit, taking a star for the horrible case design
This was a project I did with my son to introduce him to electronics and solderingThe instruction are not 100%, it makes it more difficult than it actually is. Especially for newbsThe sound is decent it was fun putting it together.The case design is horrible and convoluted with all the tiny screws and bolts, it can be frustrating.

Fun – Even For Adults.
These are nice little units, but you don’t get to build the BT and Radio portions. All you solder is the microphone controlled LED controller board.Still, pretty fun if you’re bored.

Decent kit
I have not realized that the boards are not connected to ach other and you are building just one (which is pretty simple). The parts quality is not the best – for example power connector central pin fell off in about 5 minutes.I agree with the others that the LEDs should be marked, but vendor responded vert fast to my question and LEDs were easily identified with the disk battery

Nice kit to update old stuff
Bought as a test unit for building in modern functions to old radios. This is a nice kit, but might be too much for beginners. Use the instructions in the linked QR code that comes with it for details and pictures. Connected to my phone right away and looks cool.

Beware! Parts are poor quality.
I bought this, and it took me a few months to find a time to assemble it. After four hours this evening of getting everything put togetherâthe acrylic case is a huge pain by the wayâwhen I pushed a button on the front panel, the button assembly itself broke backward, into the case. If I try to push a button, the whole assembly moves back since the plastic connection broke clean off on one side. I had to disassemble the case to see if I could reattach it, but thereâs nothing to attach it to, and at this point it would be weakened anyway. I am past the return period and Iâve now wasted an entire evening with nothing to show for it. The kit is pretty well designed, but the parts are so cheap and fragile itâs rendered mine useless.

J’ai réussi à faire fonctionner ce kit mais ai dû ajouter une antenne pour améliorer de beaucoup la réception des ondes FM. L’ajout de l’antenne extérieur évite aussi le crépitement causé par la mauvaise réception du signal FM. Ai dû percé un des côtés mais cela s’est fait sans problème. Les fils de l’antenne et de l’alimentation électrique sont très fragiles. Ils cassent facilement. Mais j’ai eu bcp de plaisir à monter ce kit.

Ne fonctionne pas. Pièces en trop, manque des étapes lors de lâassemblage. On a des images avec des pièces à installer, mais on avait même pas les bonnes pièces dans nos sacs! Vraiment nâimporte quoi! Sur les sacs de lumières qui indique les couleurs. Câest inscrit en chinois! Comment veux-tu savoir???????? Ouffffff!

It is a fairly simple kit, but it is double sided soldering. Does not have a battery which is an improvement that could be made and since the speakers are wide open Iâm going to put some metal screen I have over opening to protect them. My kit did not come with an antenna wire at all. Also came with, so far, one extra capacitor that isnât marked. And a red diode that I havenât found a place for yet. I have a metal antenna that I will put on.Note this is not a large project. The board is well marked with numbers and values of components. The instruction sheet has a parts list , a basic diagram of one board, no other useful instructions for assembly though. You have to use a q code to access a dubious page with step by step assembly.
