Exciting STEM Project for Young Builders
I chose the MIOYOOW Carousel Soldering Practice Kit as a holiday project for my almost 10-year-old son. While he’s never soldered or worked on an electronics project before, this kit seemed like a great introduction. The parts and design of the kit look promising, and Iâm excited to guide him through assembling it.Itâs an excellent STEM activity that blends creativity, technical skills, and a touch of musical fun. Iâm looking forward to seeing his excitement when the RGB LEDs light up and the carousel comes to life!

Fun little learning project
I’m quite comfortable soldering and reading wiring diagrams. This was quite easy to assemble and great for beginners. If you’re interested in learning how to solder, this probably isn’t the first thing you should build but if you’ve done it a few times, you should have no problem getting this put together. Super fun little afternoon project to do with older kids too.
