Melts Instantly when temp is right
63/37 solder is called eutectic solder meaning it melts instantly when the temp is right. 60/40 solder has a range where it becomes soft but not quite ready for a strong joint and then as temp rises it is ready for a good connection. The melt range is fine, but as a novice solderer I found it useful that when the eutectic solder melted I knew the temp was correct to form a good joint.

Pricey, but goes from “wet” to hard quickly and makes excellent solder joints
I use this for repairing vintage vehicle wiring to neon clock repair. melts nice and hardens quickly. hard to get a “cold” joint. worth the price saved in time
