MG Chemicals RA Flux Sn63/Pb37 Leaded Solder is an electronic grade solder wire. It uses the eutectic tin-tolead alloy ratio, which is complemented with a RA-like flux core. It generally exceeds J-STD-004 and J-STD-006 specifications. It is one of the easiest solders to work with because it offers a low-melting temperature with a sharp melting/solidification point, which results in robust and reliable joints that are highly resistant to whisker formation. The RA Flux residues are non-corrosive and non-conductive therefore can be left on the board or cleaned with one of MG’s flux removers.

Great product!
As a hobbist, I used to buy cheap solder wires, but after trying this one i will never go back. It flows so easily and the joints are smooth and shiny. Very recommended!

Great affordable solder
Solder works great for the price, much better then the cheap Chinese stuff that comes in soldering kits, a great buy for occasional soldering.

Good solder for hobbyists…
Price is a bit more than i wanted to pay, but I’ve used this brand for years and it really works well for me.

As good as any…
This is really good stuff. I am going to buy some more so I never run out.

Top notch solder. Worth it.
Great quality solder. I can definitely tell the difference between this and the cheap stuff. Price difference isn’t much. I’ll never go cheap solder again. Get a good flux pen too. Makes soldering life sooooooo much easier.

good product.
delivery on time, good product.
Mike JDecember 3, 2024
Good stuff
Melts quick and flows well. Exactly what solder should do, no surprises. Tried the no-lead stuff for awhile but it gets annoying. IDK about value but a couple tubes should last me a year so it doesn’t really concern me.

Works well
And smells great, like patchouli.
NekoDecember 3, 2024
Good quality, it flows nice with a small 25w soldering iron with a tip that’s seen better days. I used it for the electronics in a guitar project.
Andre MDecember 3, 2024
Melts easy, flows easy and doesnât create a black residue on your tip. Great product!

every MGchemicals product i have used is phenomenal. Top quality stuff. Im gonna buy more of this and forget about buying other cheap low quality products that I have come to realize is in my opinion a waste of good coin. The MGchemicals Solder, Soldering Wick, No Clean Flux Paste and the Copper Clad Laminated prototyping PCB which are all available on Amazon are now my only choice.Using the 2 tubes of 63/37 solder for single hole/stripboard(veroboard) proto projects and Desoldering. Along with the flux paste and/or Super Wick (2mm)The results are in all aspects good.

Yep. It’s 63/37 Solder. Great stuff too, melts very easily, flows nicely, and adheres to pads without trouble. MG Chemicals always makes good stuff, and this is no exception. Only downside is that it is relatively expensive for how much solder you actually get, but it is good quality, so it is worth it.
