Learn Electronics for Beginners
The best way to learn electronics, or to start electronics as a hobby, is to start building circuits. You do not need to know how the circuits work or what the parts do at first. By building circuits, you will learn about different electronic parts and components, how to read circuit diagrams, as well as about basic tools and electronic principles.
Buzzer start to ring and the red light indicator is on when the metal is close to the metal detector.
1.To adjust the potentiometer to affect the detection distance, the detection distance of the machine is less than 5 cm.
Multipurpose – Metal detector non contact module can be used in game entertainment, car detection, elevator floor control, equipment location detection.
Designed for Beginners:Special design for electronics starter to learn to solder electronics components. Soldering
Warm Reminder :DIY electronic components kit requires buyer to assemble and welding, If you don’t have any soldering experience, please read the soldering instructions and use soldering tools carefully to avoid safety problem

From Smitty’s digital workshop
When I put it together it was really fun and it still is I look for a lot of things with it it is great thank you

Does not come with POWER SUPPLY. SMH
Good project for the kids to solder together but the instructions suck because they are literally in Asian characters, prob Chinese, and we aren’t fluent in that language. My kids were distraught when they found no instructions but then I showed them they could just replicate the photo from Amazon or get to calculating Ohms for the resistors since the board is nicely marked. Anyhow, no power supply so that’s really sucky for newbies who don’t know the schematics yet and I also didn’t buy any extra battery pack bc I didn’t realize so it’s been two weeks and they still haven’t gotten to see it work. These kits that don’t include a power supply really give me a headache. ð¤¦ð¼ââï¸ Also, one of the components says “Remove Seal After Washing.” I don’t know what that means. I’ve done a lot of electronics but I’ve never washed an electrical component, so I dunno. I don’t even quite know where to hook up a power supply or which wire goes to which area and how many batteries to use. So annoying. ð«

It’s very finiky
It works, but only at the very short distances. Practically useless.

Google resistor identification and youâll be set
Easy to build it actually works nicely

great little project.
i loved putting this together. instructions are non existant though. just by looking you can figure out mostly where things go and the orientation, however there are 3 resistors. each with it’s own value. but not one is labeled and there is no clear way to tell which is what and which goes where. i know i could have looked up the line colors on them to know but i am colored blind so that doesn’t help me. i did however have my grandson come look them up and we got it done. works like a charm. again great project. recommend – yes and no. yes because it’s fun. no because theres no instructions. and you have resistors you have no clue as to which one is which. either way. it’s a great project, fun to do. who knows. maybe you’ll enjoy it as well.

Works for me.
At others have said, the directions are in Chinese, but this ISN’T an issue whatsoever! You can use the picture in this product’s ad to see where everything goes as far as the resistor placement goes. I’ve looked up their values & verified they’re in the correct place as the circuit board ONLY lists the resistor’s calculated values.Nice little project to get used to soldering again after years of being off.

Good practice, but they provide NO instructions or power supply
The instructions (or what I assume are the instructions) are all in chinese and thus useless to me, but if you can read circuit diagram you’ll be fine. You will have to provide a power supply, as it takes 3-5v (2 AA or AAA batteries) and comes with no way to power it.

Cool metal detector kit â read this for brief explanation of how it works.
I got this kit so my kids could learn to solder, and you can see they did a decent job. The kit works, and you can easily change the sensitivity using the onboard potentiometer. I like that it has on on/off switch and adjustable sensitivity, and a buzzer and LED. Just a great kit. I also used this to teach them how the stoplight sensors work to detect the presence of a car because of a coil buried in the road, and this kit shows that very well. Basically the coil is an inductor, and you are either adding a âcoreâ or not, to change the inductance value. The âcoreâ doesnât have to be inside the coil, it can be at the end of it, or on top of a flat coil, like this. As the core is added or removed, it changes the characteristics of the LC tank circuits that control the transistors, either activating them or not.I measured some of the parts before building, and only the ceramic capacitors were way out of spec (like, 40% too high or low), but the kit still works fine. It runs on 5V. Yes, the instructions are in Chinese, but the schematic and component values are in English, and all the components are clearly labeled right on the circuit board. Yes, you have to look up some resistor color codes if you donât know them, but this is how resistors are normally labeled. Just observe carefully, and you shouldnât have any problem. Some other reviewers were wondering why the buzzer has a sticker that says âremove seal after washing.â This is because after soldering the board, there is flux residue on the board. Many (or all) electronics companies wash this flux residue off before selling the board, and you donât want the cleaning agents/water getting into the buzzer. I worked for a small company that literally put their circuit boards through a kitchen dishwasher to remove the flux residue before selling them.I love these small, fun, simple learn-to-solder kits, because they have a lot of educational value beyond just learning to solder. This one is an easy 5 stars!
