It solders very well.
I did try it when I received it. It works well on copper, brass and anything that has been ‘Tinned’. I’ll start using it in earnest when my present roll runs out. The 0.031″ diameter works well for electronic components. What’s not to like?

Really nice solder
Kester 24-6040-0027 is the best solder I’ve used in 20 years. Clean, smooth flow. Could not ask for better.

Level up to this!!!
I WAS reordering leaded .8mm at 100grams per roll. Finally paid attention to the Kester seemingly expensive solder, but doing the math for a 1 pound roll, it works out well!It DOES still shine when cooled, which is a huge contrast to the cloudy look of the “cheap stuff”. that happens to make it easier to check the work under magnification.MOST importantly, this solder flows MUCH better than the off name brand. I thought the ugly work was my iron or tip, but turned out to be the weird named solder!I definitely recommend upgrading to Kester if you have been use to the light rolls of Chinese off brands. I got another roll of .5mm wire for SMD work and am much more confident working the micro stuff now
