Great stuff, thicker than I was thinking it’d be
Make sure you get your caliper out and show yourself what 0.62 really looks like, cause that’s what you get. This stuff isn’t really any good for SMD soldering unless you’re doing a really big component. This is absolutely made for bigger jobs. Flow is however excellent as always and the solder is nice and shiny and rigid when set

Quality
Cost is a bit high on this, however it works very well to ensure quality solder joints. It is my go to for solder and use it on all my custom light kits I make for Quad speed skates.

Look Ma! Reliable 60/50 Lead solder!
I have come to really dislike the no-lead solder and its much higher melting point. Tired of burning traces off PC cards, having to use old fashioned 100 watt soldering guns to remove RF transistors, fighting with getting copper traces to tin, tired of mangling RG-59/59 UHF connectors with UG-176 adapters. . . This is the stuff we used from the 1930’s until lead was demonized, not that anyone worries about the 40+ lb lead acid starter battery in their cars. This size is what is needed for putting UHF connectors on 1/4″ coax and mechanical soldering PC boards to make chassis.

Great value. Melts good, definitely lead
I’ve had no issues soldering 10ga battery wire. Lead free solder is impossible on 10ga with my hakko so i purchased this and works great. I was a little nervous bc of the quality of some stuff on Amazon these days but i believe this is good quality. Works just as good as the roll i bought at ace i ran out of a few months ago

The Original, Still the Best
As Kester Solder was back in the 80’s when I first used it while working at General Electric Mobile Radio, Kester never disappoints, never will you will find a better option with the same quality. Good with Kester.
