Decent beginners soldering project
My kit didn’t come with written instructions but using the qr code I was able to access the instructions. You could also use the video on the store page but it moves kinda fast! Neat as I haven’t done too much soldering before and wanted something simple and inexpensive just to get used to using the soldering iron. Being able to see something fun and simple after my efforts was nice. Also helped learn a little more about electronics.

A lot of fun constructing and after.
I haven’t soldered in a while and the construction was very enjoyable! Works well!

Send Directions not a QR Code
We got these sets for our kids to learn how to solder. They wanted to learn and we wanted to get them off of screens. Their grandfather, a retired electrician, was going to teach them, but there are no instructions, just a stupid QR code, which actually takes you to a website full of QR codes. So my electrician father wasn’t sure how to put the kits together because there are no directions included, just QR codes that take you in a QR code circle. But even if the QR codes did work, we would still rate this low because we want our kids to get off of screens to do this activity.

Fine for practice, not amazing to show off.
This practice kit gives off the vibe of something you’d find hanging on the shelf behind the counter of an electronics store or in a specialized vending machine. As a beginner in soldering, assembling it was relatively straightforward, although the lack of included instructions was a drawback. I had to resort to scanning the QR code with my iPad to work off of, but it would have been nice to include printed instructions.
