Very Easy to use
I have seen reviews saying the top melts. I have had no issue with mine melting. As long as you set upright after use it works well. Itâs very versatile, lightweight, and makes the job a lot faster. It does smoke when turned on the first time but goes away after about 10 minutes. The box also states this is glues inside settling. Has helped me though some projects and more in the future still running strong

Saved time, worked great, great price
Saved time, worked great, great price. Use this to install shrink wrap window insulation it saved a bunch of time versus using a hair dryer. It did smoke as expected at first but it went away after about 10 minutes exactly is described in the instructions. Would recommend.

Perfect for resin or epoxy work!
I used it to get rid of the bubbles in my epoxy and it worked great! The heat didn’t melt my molds but we’re just hot enough to get the bubbles out. It was very easy to use and warms up very fast.

Great Heat Gun, But Could Use a Stand for Cooling
Here’s the revised Amazon review:—**Rating: â â â â â (4/5)**This heat gun works exceptionally well for various projects, from stripping paint to heat-shrinking tubing. It heats up quickly and delivers consistent performance. The adjustable temperature settings are a nice touch, allowing for flexibility depending on the task at hand. However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish it came with a built-in stand or a support option for cooling when you don’t have a hard, flat surface nearby. Right now, you can stand it on its back, but it requires a solid, flat surface to do so safely. Without that, there’s a risk of the nozzle touching something and causing damage or burns. A simple stand would make it much more convenient and safer to use, especially when you need to set it down for a moment. Also, be aware that the heat gun will emit some smoke for about the first 10 minutes of use. This is due to the glue used in manufacturing, which needs to burn off. The instructions do mention this, so it’s not a defect, but it can be a bit surprising if you’re not expecting it.Overall, it’s a solid tool that gets the job done, but a small design improvement could make it perfect.

Works great
This heat gun worked wonders for my kitchen cabinet door makeover. I was able to effectively heat up the thermafoil layer and it peeled off very well. Have a large kitchen of about 50 kitchen cabinet drawer fronts and doors. This product did not let me down.
