This thing WORKS! GREAT!
Packed very safely. Instructions ink REAL English! Instructions are clear. There is a little understanding and coordination required.There is a button and a finger sensor. OK, I used this to solder 3 lamp cord repairs. NO shortage of HEAT. Has 2 work bright work lights. Did a SOLID repair on my S.W. wire antenna. Be sure to USB charge fully. A light says ready.Yup, real, portable/outdoor. No 110v. Only USB. ðð¼ðð¼Addendum: After a week, doing another little fix @ bench. Lost the single soldering tip incl. So do yourself the big favor. But extra tips. (Rather cheapo to only incl. 1 solder tip.)

Good for the money
Wanted to switch from butane to a rechargeable. Controls are a little awkward at first, but once you get used to it it works well. Gets hot fast. Battery life is good.

Perfecto -trabaja bien- lo unico malo es el cable de carga – mala calidad – por lo demás todo bien
Trabaja bien – al principio me costó acostumbrarme, apretó el pulsador por 5 segundos aproximadamente y se encienden los focos indicadores – previamente cargado . Luego para que funcione Congo el dedo en la parte donde está la la huella y se enciende la luz roja cambiando luego a verde cuando ya está listo para usar ( 5 segundos más sin soltar ) hasta cuando dejas de usar – también se enciendes los leds que están cerca a la punta . Y calienta perfectamente y cuando sueltas donde pones la huella se apaga la luz verde â¦. Dejando de calentar Y lo pones en su base -ya se apaga automáticamente después de varios minutos.

Only worked once.
I was excited when I ordered it and received it. Used it once to test it and thought it was awesome… that only lasted for a short time. I now needed to use it for a project and… this piece of C#$% did not work. It doesn’t heat above 78 degrees. Once I find the sellers information I’m going to request a return and never RECOMMEND this to anyone!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED with Amazon and this product. I reached out to Amazon to see if they would help me out, I wanted to get a replacement but they would only offer me money, I wanted a replacement because I have several projects to work on and can’t wait. IM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED…

Exceeded all Expectations
I put on large lighting displays in the yard and often have to repair LED/Pixel wires, which means tearing down a prop to bring it in for soldering. At one point, I was running an extension cord so I could use my soldering station while on a ladder,etc. This cordless soldering iron is a total game changer. I still need 3 hands, but can easily run out to make emergency repairs anywhere now. More than powerful enough for 16-18ga wire and a charge lasts forever. I’ve found myself using it in the shop rather than waiting for the solder station to warm up.

Great value
I love this tool. I’m an automotive tech and it gets hot fast and is really easy to use. Only negative is I wish it just was a regular on and off switch. You have to press the power key 3 times and then hold it for 3 seconds to activate it. Can be annoying.

Tip broke on 2nd use. Good customer service.
While cleaning the sodder off the tip it fell apart. They sent me a new tip without having to ask. Good customer service, Thank You. Battery and finger sensor work well. “Read directions for first use to turn it on” I needed a portable pen to fix trailers wiring in the yard and this was an economical solution.

Good soldering tool for its price
Soldering tool is pretty good considering its price so I donât have any complaints since I knew it wasnât gonna be the best of the best, the battery last for a bit but I do have to charge it once or twice a week since I use it white often and it takes quite a bit to heat up to the desired temp but it gets the job done so Iâm cool with itð

Lets set the stage. I haven’t soldered anything in over 2 decades. I bought this to solder a head unit harness for a honda civic. Thats like or so wires. Without alligator clips or mechanical assistance of any kind, I got through the task in about 30 minutes, and this little soldering pen worked great! I love the touch detection for heating and the little stand is perfect!Pros: – Built in rechargeable battery – Quick charge – Easy instructions/operation – Only heats up when held properly (Very safe, no putting it down and starting fires) – Heats up FAST (Goes from cold to flowing solder in about 20-30 seconds)Cons: – The stand, although designed nicely, feels cheap and rattlesNo cons about the device itself, so far. This has been a great purchase and I look forward to using it more in the future!

I bought this as sort of a “meh it’s worth a shot” kind of purchase. And it works, the USB-C port is handy for android folks like myself. There’s LED lights to indicate charge and status. And it gets hot.It does in fact solder, I was able to solder 6 x 14ga 2 wire splice connections together relatively easily, and it still had some charge left. For the odd hobbyist, or mechanic (like myself), or anyone doing the odd wire solder jobs, this tool is pretty handy. Saves you running a torch, or running 120v cables and solder gun.Well worth the purchase.
