Product Description
The default operating voltage of the Intelligent soldering iron is 20V. If the maximum output voltage of your adapter is less than 20V, the maximum output voltage will be obtained. If your adapter outputs up to 12v, get 12V.When the power adapter without PD fast charging protocol is used, the operating voltage of the intelligent soldering iron is the input voltage. It is noted that when the adapter is connected and the heating will restart after entering the home page. This indicates that the output power of the adapter is not sufficient for adapter, please replace another adapter. If output voltage of your adapter is 20V, but the ouput current is less than 3.25A(That is to say, the output power is less than the power required by the soldering iron),after entering the main interface and heating, the adapter may be powered off and restarted, which will cause the screen to restart!(Other operating voltages are the same)If it restarts after heating, it means that the output power of the current voltage of your adapter is not enough to work normally, Please select a lower working voltage according to the output power of the adapter. If your adapter output is 12V/2.5A, 15V/2A or 20/1.5A, the total output power is 30W,set the operating voltage to 12V.

good portable soldering alternative to butane
I usually keep my JB pyropen handy for field soldering, but someone had one of these at field day this year, fixing the dc jack on his SDR. That was my first time seeing a usb-powered soldering iron, and I was surprised it had the power needed. But it’s not USB-A, it’s USB-C, and has a useful power delivery. He just had it plugged into a USB power bank, and it worked well. Electronic temp adjustment, and fast heat-up. So I got one for myself. Comes with a variety of tips that are buil onto the heating end, so when you change tips you’re also changing heater. This places the heater in better contact with the tip, and they warm up almost instantly. Like you turn it on, and within 2 seconds the rosin that was left on the tip is already smoking. There are a few different kits available, but this one comes with several tips/heaters. a chunky AC power adapter (that works great to charge phones too) as well as a hyper-flexible USB-C power cable. It can also be powered directly off 12 volts via the included barrel adapter, though I don’t know how that affects the power output. Honestly, just the inclusion of that nice 65w USB A/C power adapter alone makes this kit a great value. Comes with a cover for the tip too so you can close it up and put it away immediately after use instead of having to wait for it to cool. The super-flexible cord is a nice plus, it gives me better fine control of the tip than any of my other irons that have stiffer cords on them. I also like the rubber grip on the end, it’s very comfortable. I was a little concerned about what looked like proprietary heater/tip units so I looked around, and was satisfied to find several vendors selling replacement tips. I ended up buying a set of replacement tips to have as spares just in case.My set didn’t come with a travel case though so I ended up packing it all in a small iPad mini box for now. That’s the one thing I’d change – include a fitted travel case for it, since it’s being sold as a field soldering iron.

Works great
OK, I don’t usually do pros and cons but this item has both.Pros: It gets hot in just seconds and melts that solder like the best, I really liked the fact that it came with different tips, I like that it fits in your shirt pocket like a pen, I especially like the lil screen too see the temp.Cons: When I bought this I thought that this was a rechargeable soldering iron but I was wrong, you need to have it plugged in order for it to work all the time and for someone in my field sometimes there is no cigarette lighter plug in the vehicles so that’s a big no no.Hope they would come up with a rechargeable one.

Great Soldering Iron – Wish More Companies Made Tips that Fit
I love this soldering iron. I have been using it regularly for about 6 months and have not had any issues. It heats up fast, it is small and portable, it comes with a good variety of tips. No complaints about the functionality. I was going to go for a pinecil or other popular options, but settled for this one based on reviews and availability. I am very happy with my purchase. I hope more 3rd parties start making tips to fit this soldering iron.

Small and light weight
I was a little worried it was going to be super cheap but auctly it’s pretty nice. I wish the USB c cable was longer but for the price I can’t complain. It does take a minute to heat up and I don’t quite understand the percentage bar on the screen it doesn’t normally go past 11% but it gets the job done nicely and I like how compact it is.

Portable and Light
I work with soldering irons for work and I got to say this is just really convenient for both work and as a hobby. I can take it anywhere and just plug it into 65W portable power bank and it works just fine. Heats up quickly too.

Rapid startup, 25W…
First of all the unit that I have will only adjust to 20 volts, that might be different with a firmware update, but I don’t have time for that. So at the max setting of 20 volts, it will draw more than 25 watts when it heats up (10sec). After it heats up no matter what tip or what you are trying to to solder, it will not draw over 25 watts continuously. This is a 25w soldering iron at the end of the day.

Fast and Small
I love this USB-C powered Soldering Iron. It is compact and will get hot really fast. Most cheap soldering irons take 2 mins to get hot, this iron gets hot within 5 seconds of being turned on. It comes with several tips and a strong USB-C cable that is a little heat resistant. Only thing I wish this kit contained was a carrying case and maybe some flux tip cleaner. OVERALL 5/5!

Facts vs Myths and Misused Terms
– The set comes with everything you need- Seemingly well-built- Thick, sturdy 65W USB-C cord included- Portable? Well, yes but then just about any soldering iron is portable as in can be moved around- Cordless? No, you need the USB cord connected for it to power on and work- Does it come with all the accessories? Yes, everything but the solder and the flux!Very solid package for the price and I am sure I will enjoy using it in the near future but as of yet, I just plugged it in and turned it on to test. I will update my review once I use it and notice any issues. If you need one, get it!
