Not reliable. Worked for several weeks and broke down.
The soldering iron worked perfectly for several weeks. And suddenly during operation it switched off and no longer switches on at all. Tried changing cables, power supplies. The soldering iron shows no signs of life. Too bad. A good, convenient soldering iron, but not reliable.

30-Oct UPDATE: The seller reached out to me within 2-days of my posting the review below and resolved my issue. Everyone is presented with issues. What determines success or failure is how those issues are handled. In the future, when a FNIRSI product is one of my choices, I’ll probably choose it.This is a high performing soldering iron that is also sleek, stylish and very high tech looking. The time to temperature is incredibly fast as is the cool down time.All accessories have a quality look and feel. The included tips cover everything from large component PCB soldering to fine line wood burning.The included case, one of my decision drivers, is a joke. It doesn’t even accommodate the AC adapter making their claim that it’s a portability convenience rubbish since the iron cannot function without the AC adapter. No excuse for this since it would have been so easy to include an off the shelf case that is functional and has the capacity to carry the entire kit.The iron is so good that I am still debating whether to return the kit, but if I can find a better alternative this one is going back.
