Great set!
Great set of tweezers to use on electrical equipment or even on other items. Love the carrying case that keeps them all together. The insulation is super thick and I feel safe working on things even if the power is left accidently on. Really good quality tools!

Appear to Meet Voltage Rating
I was interested to see if these tweezers would meet the 1000V rating on the handle. I have access to a dielectric strength tester that is able to apply 1000Vac to the tweezers and measure the leakage current. I tested all the tweezers with the high voltage applied to the metal tips of the tweezers and the leakage probe connected to the finger grips. The highest leakage current I measured was 0.007mA, very low and most likely in the noise floor of the instrument. I would say that these tweezers are good for their rated voltage but still I would exercise caution with any equipment when working with high voltages.

Unimpressed with the center meet point of the tips
One of the tweezers doesn’t meet on center when gripping together under light even pressure. That’s not good. The other tweezers are easy to deflect off-center because whatever design is at the hinge point (hidden under the insulation) is sloppy and doesn’t keep the tweezers centered. If your squeeze is a little torqued, the points won’t meet well. These may be insulated and pass the IEC tests, but as “precision” (their word) tweezers, they are not sufficient. Only consider these if you absolutely must have IEC tested insulated tweezers.Let me give you an example: say you want to grab specific fiber optic lines in a bundle. Nope, these are not good. You probably don’t need an insulated tweezer in that application anyway.Perhaps these are just for 18 g wire and thicker. Yeah, they are fine there. That’s the higher voltage applications anyway. Thinking about fine electronics projects? Probably look elsewhere.

Everything about these shouts high quality.
After receiving them I immediately ran over to an electrical outlet and jammed a pair into the socket to test their electrical resistance. Not really. The smallest pair are the only ones that don’t have a serrated tip. I didn’t have any issues with the tips not meeting up or being misaligned. They feel weighty in the hand, not like my wife’s bathroom tweezer set.The spring force varies pretty dramatically from pair to pair. With the widest set also being the ones requiring the most force to close. The included pouch is well stitched and all of the edges are finished. It’s a nice touch to make sure the investment is protected.I plan on using these (mostly the small one) for assembling mechanical keyboards as an additional static prevention measure.

Quality Safety Tweezer Set
As the Headline states: Quality Safety Tweezer SetI’m really impressed with this tweezer set. The presentation is excellent with a high quality roll storage pouch. There’s some reviews that mention the tips don’t mate-up perfectly. Of the four tweezers only one in my set is about 20% percent off and the rest are perfect. Not a big deal in my book.I would use this tweezer set as a backup safety after all the power is turned off. A common situation is working on a stuffed switch box that wire or wires are difficult to reach. These tweezers will solve this problem. Also I have fat fingers and ham fisted so this tweezer set will help with my dexterity and precision in tight spaces.

Safety item
Actually, my wife ordered this set of safety tweezers for me because she is always fearful when I am reaching into a circuit breaker box. It seems like I often have occasion to retrieve materials from the bottom of the box or to reach a wire and work it around another wire or breaker. The set of four tweezers features four different types of tips that accommodate tasks from fine work to picking up moderate sized items. They are super insulated for protection up to 10000 volts. They have little knobs on the sides that can keep your hand from slipping off the handle and touching the metal prongs. The inside edges of the tweezers are serrated allowing for a good grip. They come in a fabric case that rolls upâI have a tool box dedicated to my electrical tools so I can drop the case in my toolbox and easily retrieve the tweezer set when I need it. Iâm happy she ordered this safety kit for me!

Good handles, not-so-precision tweezers
The way the tips come together on all 4 of these is not great. I think it would be hard to get any sort of grip with these, especially if working with smaller gauge wire. The handles seem pretty nice, and probably live up to their claims, but I think if I was working on any live circuits (which I can usually avoid), I would feel a lot more sure of myself with regular insulated pliers. I’m no electrician, but I feel like very little attention was given to the shaping of the tips on these. They might work for moving things around, but not so much for having to really push or pull with any sort of grip. The handles really give you something to hold onto though, much better than typical tweezers in that respect for some. I think I will find uses for these, but probably not my go-to for electrical work.

Very solid tweezers for use around electricity
These are beefy tweezers that are rated for use around live electrical circuits. I hate dropping small screws around circuit boards and then trying to fish them out without accidentally shorting something else inside the case. These tweezers are useful in trying to mitigate that risk. Grab some if you work around electronics!
