This things NEAT! Great teaching device
If youâre showing your kids how to do soldering or how circuits work this is by all means the best way. The directions are pretty straight forward but if you know how the components work youâll be good. Itâs not a Bose but setting back after completion itâs a great little thing. Thin solder and flux will be your BEST friend

Very easy and fun project!
The project was very easy! The printed directions are a little confusing if you don’t know how to identify resistors. Just scan the QR code on the paper and it’ll bring you to a better set of instructions with pictures. The only complaint I have is that the radio could have a lower volume at its lowest setting. It’s still pretty loud at the lowest it’ll go. Overall this is a great project for someone who is learning how to solder!

Perfect beginner set
Got this for my 10-year old who’s been interested in electronics and this was a perfect intro for him. Took him a couple of days but he was able to put it together and get it working. This takes 18650 batteries so make sure you have one around.

Volume does NOT work
Schematic and silk print on board does NOT match, resistors value not marked, so need to do color look up, gain over loaded, and most important Volume adjustment does NOT work !! Hard to recommend this.

Can’t wait to start thus project!
If it’s like all the other projects I have purchased from the amazing Dingdong Store, this one will be epic!! Apparently it is also a very complex one too, 37 pages of assembly instructions. Awesome!!

It worked! I had my doubts
For the price is a great gift. My brother put it together and loved it but the speaker is horrible. So is great for learning and seen your work pay up.

Not for Beginners
The instructions are not clear enough for beginners. Some of the parts did not work. If I did not have classroom supplementation, I would not have been able to put this together. I could not imagine giving this to a child and expecting them to be able to put it together. Parts are not labeled clearly at all, and the wires for connecting the speaker are useless. Surprisingly, it does work, but all-in-all I would still not recommend it. Get a real beginner’s kit elsewhere.
