Great tongs
They are great at picking up small invertebrates without hurting them.

perfect for my antkeeping duties
Came in a portable pouch so I could keep them together and carry them in it. Not sure what that cancer warning was for on the package though as I’m not eating anything with them lol.

Strong enough but also flexible and smooth
Strong enough to hold wings, but also flexible enough and smooth enough not to damage the wings.

As good as the old ones.
With the departure of BioQuip it has been difficult to get specialized items like this. This set is very comparable to the ones I’ve been buying for years (albeit a bit pricy). Works well for retrieving individual maggots from a corpse.

Exactly what they say they are
Light, functional featherweight forceps that do the job for manipulating small delicate objects (like insects).

Works great for flower pressing
I use these for my dried flowers as they come out of the flower press and they work great as I design cards and other creations with the flowers.

Fine
Forceps work well for handling insects. Iâm so bummed that bioquip closed! ðI guess Amazon will have to do.

Servicable.
Not as light as the bioquip featherweights, but usable for larger specimens.Fine tip points don’t line up perfectly. Consider putting some type of padding on the ends for more fragile specimens.
