Great quality, decent price
I bought this soldering kit for my son, and it turned out great. I didn’t expect much from such an inexpensive product, but it works pretty well. It comes with everything you need to start soldering. My only complaint is that the wire strippers are meant for mostly large wires, and it is not possible to strip smaller wires. I would recommend buying separate wire strippers if you plan to use them. There is not a lot of solder that comes in the package, but if you are just soldering for fun or fixing household appliances, the included solder will last you a while. If you are going to be soldering on a regular basis, then you might want to buy a separate spool of solder. The iron itself is decent. It melts the solder pretty well and it takes about 5 minutes to heat up. The screwdriver has 8 different bits and is compact. The multimeter needs 2 aaa batteries to operate, and they are NOT included. The tweezers are handy when you are holding a wire to solder it to a joint. The desoldering pump does its job and it is easy to operate. The included case is nice, if you want to take your kit somewhere else. Overall the quality of everything is good, and the low price point is even better.

Great Soldering Kit for on-the-go!
Anbes Soldering Iron Kit – 4 Stars This is a pretty solid soldering iron kit. The Anbes Soldering Iron Kit is a perfect package for doing repairs OTG or on the go. For FPV drone pilots it could come in very handy to use this kit. I will go over all the different components that come inside the package. First off it was ordered and delivered within the allotted time. Also, it was well insulated, so there was no damage was made to the actual package. The package itself is a black nylon case with green trim and felt heavy and durable. I opened the black case and there it is, everything you would need to solder just about any electrical part.There are 8 components included in the package:60W Adjustable Temperature Welding ToolDigital Multimeter2pcs Soldering Iron tipsDesoldering PumpWire Stripper CutterTweezersSoldering Iron Stand2pcs Electronic Wire The 60W Adjustable Temperature Welding Tool is your basic soldering iron. It has an electrical outlet plug easily plugged into any US electrical outlet around the home or car. It came with 3 total soldering iron tips that worked well. They are semi slim tips that are the right size for repairing electrical circuit boards of all types. Once you plug it in, there is an on/off switch that turns it on or off. Thereâs a knob at the base of the solder iron that you can turn and adjust the temp up or down. I like to use mine around the 350-375 Celsius temperature range for my soldering projects. The welding tool comes with a base and a coil to keep the soldering tool in while you are using it. The tip is suspended and wonât burn anything if you donât have with things right in front of it, one of the little things that could be improved. The base and coil are also not weighted so it teds to get pulled down when the cord on the soldering iron is touched or moved even a little bit and I found my iron on the floor. The Multimeter seemed like a decent meter compared to others that I have seen. It had a little bit of weight to it and it functioned properly. I used it to check the connections that I soldered to make sure that there was nothing hooked up backwards before I plugged in the battery to the drone for the first time. It saves a ton of money not burning out your circuit boards. Trust me I have a graveyard of toasted circuit boards. Its ridiculous!Some other items included in the package. 2 were winners and 2 items needed improvement, in my opinion. The winners were a pair of curved tweezers. Tweezers were nice quality and helped put wires into tight place and hold down the wires when soldering. Tweezers always come in handy when you need them. There is also a Desoldering pump that will help you remove any extra solder that you may have accidentally put on the board. I hope to never actually need one of these pumps, but it was nice to have it in there. The items that needed improvement was the wire cutters and the actual wires that are included in the package. The wires are easily singed by the iron and they should have a good set of black and red SILICON wire to help abate this problem.Finally, the wire cutters were very cheap feeling and did not work very well. I couldnât figure them out! I even tried to look up online to see how to use these specific wire cutters. Definitely could improve on those two items, along with the base for holding the hot soldering iron could be weighted and make the plug be USB instead of the standard electrical outlet. Overall the performance of the soldering iron tool was good. I completed some very nice joints and I used this tool to build an FPV Racing Drone from the ground up. This would definitely hold up in the field if you had a crash and needed to do a quick repair while outside. But you would need to find battery you can plug it in to. A nice option would be to have a usb plug at the end and include and wall adaptor. That way if you are an FPV pilot you can use an adaptor and use your battery for the drone to power your soldering iron. That would make me want to give this a 5-star rating.

Very good value and excellent customer service
This kit was purchased for a young child to use with parent, due to a strong interest in soldering. The most important part of the kit is, of course, the soldering iron. For the most part, this one rocks! The adjustable temp control lets it get hot enough to really work. The switch on the power cord is convenient, and the little stand it comes with works well along with the sponge. The only downside to the temp setting is that the text arrow that points to the temp setting got rubbed off very quickly. However, it is easier to figure out the approximate setting anyway.Customer service: our kit came with a weak probe for the multimeter. The probe separated rendering the multimeter useless. However, we let customer service know and they immediately replace the kit. Very responsive service, and I would not hesitate to buy from these folks again.

High quality little package
Iâm not a professional when it comes to soldering by any means, however I do like to collect tools just Incase I ever need them, and sure enough I needed this kit. I lost connection to a overhead compass in one of my trucks, and instead of spending 300 dollars to have it fixed by a professional.. I fixed it on my own! It was easy and thankfully I had this kit with me, I like the stand that holds the soldering gun, it makes things easier, especially when youâre like me and like to work on a wooden kitchen table. The kit is very high quality, and compact, itâs an awesome kit, again Iâm not a professional but as a 18 year old that likes to do things on his own I can really appreciate this kit !

Works sufficiently and as expected
It’s exactly what I expected and works perfectly fine. Is it a Weller? No. I don’t do a lot of electrical work, particularly not intensive stuff, so it’s fine for what I do (guitar and guitar amp repairs, basic wire/lead joining)The temperature control knob is a nice feature. It’s not a precise digital control, but it’s there and it works and it helps when I switch back and forth between Sn/Bi and Sn/Pb solder and helps not dump a ton of heat into what I’m working on.For such a cheap price, it’s nice that it comes with the stand, case, a variety of tips, and the pencil and works as expected, just fine
